ಪಟೇಲ್, ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಯನ್ನೇ ಬಿಡದವರು ಅಣ್ಣಾನನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಯಾರೇ?

ಖಂಡಿತ ಆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅನುಮಾನಗಳು ಕಾಡುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಇತರರ ಯಶಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಸಹಿಸುವ ಗುಣ ನೆಹರು ಕುಟುಂಬದ ರಕ್ತದಲ್ಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಭಾರತ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸೇನೆಯನ್ನು (INA) ಕಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಸುಭಾಷ್್ಚಂದ್ರ ಬೋಸ್, ಬರ್ಮಾ ಮೂಲಕ ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷರ ಮೇಲೆ ದಾಳಿ ಮಾಡುವುದಾಗಿ 1944ರಲ್ಲಿ ರೇಡಿಯೋ ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ “ಸುಭಾಷ್ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ನಾನೇ ಖಡ್ಗ ಹಿಡಿದು ಹೋರಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ’ ಎಂದು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಜವಾಹರಲಾಲ್ ನೆಹರು. ಅಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಯಾವ ಮಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೂ ಇಳಿಯುವ ಸೂಚನೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಪೂರ್ವದಲ್ಲೇ ನೀಡಿದ್ದರು. ಅಂತಹ ನೆಹರು ಕುಟುಂಬ ಇಡೀ ದೇಶವಾಸಿಗಳ ಕಣ್ಣಲ್ಲಿ ಹೀರೋ ಆಗಿ ಹೊರಹೊಮ್ಮಿರುವ ಅಣ್ಣಾ ಹಜಾರೆಯವರನ್ನು ಬಿಡುತ್ತದೆಯೇ? ಕಪಿಲ್ ಸಿಬಲ್, ವೀರಪ್ಪ ಮೊಯ್ಲಿ, ದಿಗ್ವಿಜಯ್ ಸಿಂಗ್, ಮನೀಶ್ ತಿವಾರಿ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಗಳು, ಕೆಸರೆರಚುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳು ಏನನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸುತ್ತಿವೆ? ಇದುವರೆಗೂ ನೆಹರು ಕುಟುಂಬ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಭಟ್ಟಂಗಿಗಳು “ತುಳಿದು’ ಬಂದ ಹಾದಿಯಾದರೂ ಹೇಗಿದೆ?
ಘಟನೆ-1
“The power of reconstruction is always greater than the power of destruction”! ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದ ಅತ್ಮಗೌರವದ ಪ್ರತೀಕದಂತಿರುವ ಸೋಮನಾಥ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಅಡಿಗಲ್ಲು ಇಡುವ ಸಮಾರಂಭಕ್ಕೆ ಅಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದ ಮೊದಲ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ರಾಜೇಂದ್ರ ಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ಹಾಗೆಂದಿದ್ದರು. ಜುನಾಯದ್, ಮಹಮದ್ ಘಜ್ನಿ, ಅಲ್ಲಾವುದ್ದೀನ್ ಖಿಲ್ಜಿ, ಮುಜಫ್ಫರ್ ಶಾ, ಮಹಮದ್ ಬೆಗ್ದಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೊನೆಯದಾಗಿ ಮೊಘಲ್ ದೊರೆ ಔರಂಗಜೇಬ ಇವರಿಂದ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಬರುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಮುನ್ನ ಸೋಮನಾಥ ದೇವಾಲಯ 6 ಬಾರಿ ನಾಶಗೊಂಡು 5 ಸಲ ಪುನರ್ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಗೊಂಡಿತ್ತು. ಸೋಮನಾಥ ದೇವಾಲಯವಿದ್ದಿದ್ದು ಪ್ರಭಾಸ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ. ಅದು ಜುನಾಗಡ್್ಗೆ ಸೇರಿತ್ತು. ಜನಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯ ಶೇ. 80 ರಷ್ಟು ಹಿಂದುಗಳೇ ಇದ್ದರೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ನವಾಬ ಜುನಾಗಢ್ ಅನ್ನು ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಹವಣಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ. ಇದರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಬಂಡೆದ್ದ ಜನ ಶಾಮಲ್್ದಾಸ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಬದಲಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ರಚಿಸಿದರು. ದಿಕ್ಕೆಟ್ಟ ನವಾಬ ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಪಲಾಯನ ಮಾಡಿದ. ಆನಂತರ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಒಕ್ಕೂಟಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಶಾಮಲ್್ದಾಸ್ ಕರೆಕೊಟ್ಟ ಕಾರಣ 1947, ನವೆಂಬರ್ 12ರಂದು ಖುದ್ದು ಅಗಮಿಸಿದ ಉಪಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಸರ್ದಾರ್ ವಲ್ಲಭಭಾಯಿ ಪಟೇಲ್, ಜುನಾಗಢದ ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆ ಜತೆಗೆ ಸೋಮನಾಥ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಪುನರ್ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕೂ ಆದೇಶ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಅಂತಹ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವವನ್ನಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಸರ್ದಾರ್ ಪಟೇಲ್, ಕೆ.ಎಂ. ಮುನ್ಷಿ ಮತ್ತಿತರ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ನಾಯಕರು ಗಾಂಧೀಜಿ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದಾಗ ಬಹಳ ಖುಷಿಯಿಂದಲೇ ಸಮ್ಮತಿಸಿದ ಮಹಾತ್ಮ, ಜನರ ದೇಣಿಗೆಯಿಂದ ಮರು ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಡೆಯಲಿ ಎಂದರು.
ಅದರೆ ಈ ಘಟನೆಯಿಂದ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕೋಪ ಬಂದಿದ್ದು ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರಿ ಪಂಡಿತ ಜವಾಹರಲಾಲ್ ನೆಹರುಗೆ!
ಅವರು ಸೋಮನಾಥ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಪುನರ್ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವನ್ನು ಹಿಂದು ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನದಂತೆ ಕಂಡರು. ಆದರೇನಂತೆ ಉಕ್ಕಿನ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಪಟೇಲ್ ಗಂಡೆದೆಯ ಮುಂದೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಕುಮಾರನಂತಿದ್ದ ನೆಹರು ಆರ್ಭಟ ನಡೆಯಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಸೋಮನಾಥ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಮಸೀದಿಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಂಗಡಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಈ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಸರ್ದಾರ್ ಪಟೇಲ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಗಾಂಧೀಜಿ ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ತೀರಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಮುನ್ಷಿ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಪುನರ್ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಕಾರ್ಯವೇನೋ ಮುಂದುವರಿಯಿತು. ಆದರೆ 1964ರವರೆಗೂ ಬದುಕಿದ್ದ ನೆಹರು, ಸರ್ದಾರ್ ಪಟೇಲ್ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಯಾವೊಬ್ಬ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ಸಿಗರೂ ಎತ್ತದಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು! ಇವತ್ತು ಬಿಜೆಪಿ, ಆರೆಸ್ಸೆಸ್ಸಿಗರ ಬಾಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ದಾರ್ ಪಟೇಲ್ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಯ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಬಹುದು. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರವಾದಿಗಳಿಗಂತೂ ಸರ್ದಾರ್ ಪಟೇಲ್ ಯಾವತ್ತೂ ಆದರ್ಶಪ್ರಾಯ. ಆದರೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ಸಿಗನಿಂದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಮಟ್ಟದ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ನಾಯಕನವರೆಗೂ ಒಬ್ಬರಾದರೂ ಸರ್ದಾರ್ ಪಟೇಲ್ ನಮ್ಮ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯ ನಾಯಕ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವುದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೀರಾ?!
ಘಟನೆ-2
ಆ ದಿನ 1965, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 31. ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಲಾಲ್ ಬಹಾದ್ದೂರ್ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದ ಊಟಕ್ಕೆಂದು ಬಂದಿದ್ದರು. ಇನ್ನೇನು ತಿನ್ನಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಬೇಕು, ಅಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಅಪ್ತ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಕಿವಿಯಲ್ಲೇನೋ ಉಸುರಿದರು. ಊಟ ಮರೆತ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೀಜಿ, “10 ಜನಪಥ್್’ನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಕಚೇರಿಯತ್ತ ಧಾವಿಸಿದರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಭೂಸೇನೆ, ನೌಕಾ ದಳ ಹಾಗೂ ವಾಯುಪಡೆಯ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರು ಪ್ರಧಾನಿಗಾಗಿ ಕಾದಿದ್ದರು. ಏನಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಯೋಚಿಸುವಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಿ, ಅಂದರೆ ಐದೇ ನಿಮಿಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಭೆ ಮುಗಿಯಿತು. “ಹತ್ಯಾರೋಂ ಕಾ ಜವಾಬ್, ಹತ್ಯಾರೋಂ ಸೆ ದೇಂಗೆ’ ಎಂದು ಹದಿನೈದು ದಿನಗಳ ಹಿಂದಷ್ಟೇ ಕೆಂಪುಕೋಟೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಗುಡುಗಿದ್ದ ಲಾಲ್ ಬಹಾದ್ದೂರ್ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿ, ಗಡಿ ಉಲ್ಲಂಘನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧ ಘೋಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರು! ಎರಡನೇ ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಸಮರದ ನಂತರ ಭುಗಿಲೆದ್ದ ಅತಿದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಂಘರ್ಷ ಅದಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸೇನೆ ಲಾಹೋರ್ ಸಮೀಪಕ್ಕೆ ತಲುಪಿತು. ಪಾಕ್ ಪರ ರಣರಂಗಕ್ಕಿಳಿಯುವುದಾಗಿ ಚೀನಾ ಬೆದರಿಕೆ ಹಾಕಿದರೂ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೀಜಿ ಬಗ್ಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. 1948ರಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಕ್ ದಾಳಿ ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ರಣಹೇಡಿ ನೆಹರು ವಿಶ್ವಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಕದತಟ್ಟಿದರೆ, 1965ರಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯೇ ಓಡಿಬರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೀಜಿ! 1962ರಲ್ಲಿ ಚೀನಾ ಎದುರು ಉಂಟಾದ ಸೋಲು ಇಡೀ ದೇಶದ ಅತ್ಮಸ್ಥೈರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಉಡುಗಿಸಿದರೆ 1965ರಲ್ಲಿ ಗೆಲುವು ತಂದುಕೊಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಭಾರತೀಯರು ಮತ್ತೆ ಎದೆಯುಬ್ಬಿಸಿ ನಡೆಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೀಜಿ. ಕೇವಲ 17 ತಿಂಗಳು ಪ್ರಧಾನಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೀಜಿ 17 ವರ್ಷ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ನೆಹರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಧೈರ್ಯ, ಛಲ, ಜನಪ್ರಿಯತೆ ಎಲ್ಲದರಲ್ಲೂ ಮೀರಿಸಿದರು. ಅದು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್್ನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ನೆಹರು ಪುತ್ರಿ ಇಂದಿರಾ ಗಾಂಧಿಗಾಗಲಿ, ನೆಹರು ಕುಂಟುಂಬದ ಭಟ್ಟಂಗಿಗಳಿಗಾಗಲಿ ಪಥ್ಯವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.
1966, ಜನವರಿ 11ರ ರಾತ್ರಿ.
ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಲಾಲ್ ಬಹಾದ್ದೂರ್ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿ ತಾಷ್ಕೆಂಟ್್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅನುಮಾನಾಸ್ಪದ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೃದಯಾಘಾತಕ್ಕೆ ಬಲಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ನೀಲಿಗಟ್ಟಿದ ದೇಹ ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂತು. ಒಂದೆಡೆ ಇಡೀ ದೇಶವೇ ದುಃಖದ ಮಡುವಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದರೆ ಇನ್ನೊಂದೆಡೆ ನೆಹರು ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಭಟ್ಟಂಗಿಗಳು ಶವಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಲು ಬಿಡದೆ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೀಜಿಯವರನ್ನು ಇತಿಹಾಸದ ಕಸದಬುಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ದೂಡುವ ಪಿತೂರಿ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಗಾಂಧೀಜಿ, ನೆಹರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಂತ್ಯಸಂಸ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲೇ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೀಜಿಯವರ ಕೊನೆಯ ವಿಧಿ-ವಿಧಾನಗಳನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಲು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ಸಿಗರೇ ವಿರೋಧ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರ ದೇಹವನ್ನು ಅಲಹಾಬಾದ್್ಗೆ ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ಯುವಂತೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದರು. ಇಂತಹ ಧೂರ್ತತನವನ್ನು ಜನರ ಮುಂದಿಡುವುದಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಪತ್ನಿ ಲಲಿತಾ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿ ಬೆದರಿಕೆ ಹಾಕಿದಾಗ ದೆಹಲಿಯಲ್ಲೇ ಅಂತ್ಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡಲು ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಅವರ ಸಮಾಧಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ “ಜೈ ಜವಾನ್, ಜೈ ಕಿಸಾನ್್’ ಎಂದು ಕೆತ್ತುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಅಡ್ಡಿಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಲಲಿತಾ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಯವರು ಉಪವಾಸ ಕೂರುವುದಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ಧಮಕಿ ಹಾಕಬೇಕಾಗಿ ಬಂತು. ದುಃಖದಿಂದ ಹೊರಬರುವ ಮೊದಲೇ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಕಚೇರಿಯಿಂದ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೀಜಿಯವರ ಭಾವಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಕಿತ್ತೊಗೆಯಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಲಾಲ್ ಬಹಾದ್ದೂರ್ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನೆಹರುಗೆ ಎಷ್ಟು ಮತ್ಸರವಿತ್ತೆಂದರೆ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯಾನಂತರ ರಚನೆಯಾದ ಹಂಗಾಮಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಂಪುಟಕ್ಕೆ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಯವರನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡರೂ ಖಾತೆ ರಹಿತ ಮಂತ್ರಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿಸಿದ್ದರು. 1963ರಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಹರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂಪುಟದಿಂದ ಕೈಬಿಟ್ಟಾಗ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೀಜಿ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಂಕಣ ಬರೆದು ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಹೊರೆಯಬೇಕಾಯಿತು. ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೀಜಿ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಎಂತಹ ಧೋರಣೆ ಅನುಸರಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿದೆ ಎಂದರೆ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೀಜಿ ಜನ್ಮದಿನ ಕೂಡ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 2ರಂದೇ ಎಂಬುದು ಎಷ್ಟು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತು? 2004ರಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೀಜಿಯವರ ಜನ್ಮಶತಮಾನೋತ್ಸವದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಯಾವ ಅಸಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನೂ ತೋರದಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಅವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಅನಿಲ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಸುನೀಲ್ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕವಾಗಿ ಟೀಕಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಹೀಗೆ ಈ ದೇಶದ ಧೀರ ಪುತ್ರನನ್ನೇ ಸಹಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್.

1991, ಜೂನ್ 21. ರಾಜಕೀಯ ನಿವೃತ್ತಿ ಯಾಚಿಸಿದ್ದ ಪಾಮುಲಪರ್ತಿ ವೆಂಕಟ ನರಸಿಂಹರಾವ್, ಅಂದು ಪ್ರಧಾನಿಯಾಗಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ವಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ಹಾಗಂತ ಖುಷಿಪಡುವ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಹಣದುಬ್ಬರ ಶೇ. 17ಕ್ಕೇರಿತ್ತು. ಸಾಲ 90 ಶತಕೋಟಿ ಪೌಂಡ್್ಗೇರಿತ್ತು. 100 ಕೋಟಿ ಸಾಲ ಕೊಡುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ವಿಶ್ವಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಎಡಿಬಿ ಸಿದ್ಧವಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಹಿಂದಿನ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಖರ್ ಚಿನ್ನವನ್ನು ಅಡವಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು. ಭಾರತ ಡಿಫಾಲ್ಟರ್ ಆಗುವುದು ಖಚಿತವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ದಿವಾಳಿಯಾಗುವುದೆಂದರೆ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಅತಿದೊಡ್ಡ ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವ, ಪುರಾತನ ನಾಗರಿಕತೆ ಎಂಬ ಘನತೆ, ಹೆಗ್ಗಳಿಕೆ ಮಣ್ಣು ಪಾಲಾದಂತೆ. ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಉದ್ದಿಮೆಗಳೆಂಬ ಬಿಳಿ ಆನೆಗಳು, ಪರಮ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟ ನೌಕರಶಾಹಿಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ದೇಶ ಹೀನಾಯ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಗೆ ತಲುಪಿತ್ತು. ಇಂತಹ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪ್ರಾಧಾನಿಯಾಗಿ ನೆಹರು ಪ್ರಣೀತ ಅರೆ ಸಮಾಜವಾದವನ್ನು (Quasi Socialism) ತಿಪ್ಪೆಗೆ ಎಸೆಯುವುದು, ಇಂದಿರಾ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಹುಟ್ಟು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದ “ಬಾಬು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ’, ಇನ್್ಸ್ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ರಾಜ್, ಪರ್ಮಿಟ್ ರಾಜ್, ಲೈಸೆನ್ಸ್ ರಾಜ್್ಗಳಿಗೆ ತಿಲಾಂಜಲಿ ಹಾಕುವುದು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅದರೂ ಧೈರ್ಯ ತೋರಿ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಉದಾರೀಕರಣ ನೀತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತಂದವರು ನರಸಿಂಹರಾವ್. ಇವತ್ತು ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಮನಿ, High End Technology, ಬಗೆ ಬಗೆಯ ಕಾರು, ಕೈಗೆಟುಕುವ ಬೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಟಿವಿ, ಫ್ರಿಜ್, ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿಂಗ್, ಇಂಟರ್್ನೆಟ್ ಸೇವೆ ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ನರಸಿಂಹರಾವ್ ಕಾರಣ. ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುಧಾರಣಾವಾದಿ, ವಿದ್ವಾಂಸ, ವಿಧ್ವಂಸಕ ಏನು ಬೇಕಾದರೂ ಕರೆಯಿರಿ. ಲಕೂಭಾಯಿ ಪಾಠಕ್, ಸೈಂಟ್ ಕೀಟ್ಸ್, ಜೆಎಂಎಂ ಹಗರಣಗಳನ್ನಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಜರೆಯಿರಿ. ಅದರೆ ಭಾರತ ಇವತ್ತು ಚೀನಾಕ್ಕೆ ಸಡ್ಡು ಹೊಡೆಯುವಂತೆ ಬೆಳೆದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದರ ಹಿಂದೆ ನರಸಿಂಹ ರಾವ್ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮ, ದೂರದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿದೆ. ಇನ್ನು 1993ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ ಭೀಕರ ಲಾತೂರ್ ಭೂಕಂಪವನ್ನು ನಿಭಾಯಿಸಿದ ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಮರೆಯಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವೆ?
ಇಂತಹ ನರಸಿಂಹರಾವ್ 2004, ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 23ರಂದು ರಾಜಧಾನಿ ದೆಹಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಗಲಿದಾಗ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನು ಗೊತ್ತೆ?
ಅವರ ಪಾರ್ಥಿವ ಶರೀರವನ್ನು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ದರ್ಶನಕ್ಕಿಡಲು ಎಐಐಸಿ ಕಚೇರಿಯ ಒಳಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ಯುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಗೇಟನ್ನೇ ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟರು! ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ಅಂತ್ಯಸಂಸ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ದೆಹಲಿಯಲ್ಲೇ ಜಾಗ ಕೊಡಿ ಎಂಬ ರಾವ್ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಮನವಿಗೂ ಸೋನಿಯಾ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಸೊಪ್ಪು ಹಾಕಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಕೊನೆಗೆ ಹೈದರಾಬಾದ್್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಅಂತ್ಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಎಚ್.ಡಿ. ದೇವೇಗೌಡ, ಲಾಲ್್ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಆಡ್ವಾಣಿಯವರಂಥ ವಿರೋಧ ಪಕ್ಷದ ನಾಯಕರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದರಾದರೂ ಸೋನಿಯಾ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಅಂತಹ ಸೌಜನ್ಯ ತೋರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಕಳೆದ ವರ್ಷ ನಡೆದ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್್ನ 125ನೇ ಜಯಂತಿ ವೇಳೆ ಮಾಡಿದ 15 ನಿಮಿಷಗಳ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್್ನ ಎಲ್ಲ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿಗಳ ಹೆಸರನ್ನೂ ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಿದ ಸೋನಿಯಾ, “Rajiv Gandhi scripted the course of Economic policies that were followed by the government (headed by Rao) for the following five years” ಎಂದರೇ ಹೊರತು ರಾವ್ ಅವರ ಸಣ್ಣ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪವನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಉದಾರೀಕರಣದ ರೂವಾರಿ ರಾವ್ ಅವರಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ರಾಜೀವ್್ಗೆ ಕ್ರೆಡಿಟ್ ಕೊಡಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್್ನ ಇಂತಹ ಧೋರಣೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಬರೆಯುತ್ತಾ ಖ್ಯಾತ ಇತಿಹಾಸಜ್ಞ ರಾಮಚಂದ್ರ ಗುಹಾ ಹೀಗೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ- “To forget his achievements, but to remember his mistakes, is a product of cold and deliberate calculation”.
ಇಷ್ಟು ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲ, ಸೀಟು ಬಿಡಲೊಪ್ಪದ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಸೀತಾರಾಮ್ ಕೇಸರಿಯವರನ್ನು 1998ರಲ್ಲಿ ಪದಚ್ಯುತಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಸೋನಿಯಾ ಗಾಂಧಿಯವರನ್ನು ಆ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ನೇಮಕ ಮಾಡಿದ ಅಕೆಯ ಬೆಂಬಲಿಗ ಗೂಂಡಾಗಳು ಕೇಸರಿಯವರನ್ನು ಎಐಸಿಸಿ ಕಚೇರಿಯಿಂದ ಎತ್ತಿ ಆಚೆ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದರು. ಜವಾಹರಲಾಲ್ ನೆಹರು ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯೇ ಅಂಥದ್ದು, ತನಗಿಂತ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧರಾಗುವುದನ್ನು ಅದು ಸಹಿಸುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಬಂದ ತರುವಾಯ ರಚನೆಯಾದ ಸರಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂತಹ ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಅವರನ್ನೇ ಮಂತ್ರಿ ಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನೆಹರು ಸಿದ್ಧರಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. 1951-52ರಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಮೊದಲ ಸಾರ್ವತ್ರಿಕ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸಿದ್ದೇ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್. ಹಾಗಿರುವಾಗ ಏಕಾಏಕಿ ಬಂದು ಇಡೀ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರರಾಗಿರುವ ಅಮಾಯಕ ಅಣ್ಣಾ ಹಜಾರೆಯವರನ್ನು ಸೋನಿಯಾ ಗಾಂಧಿಯವರ ಚೇಲಾಗಳು ಬಿಡುತ್ತಾರೆಯೇ? ಈ ದೇಶದ ಧೀರ ಪುತ್ರರಾದ ಸುಭಾಷ್್ಚಂದ್ರ ಬೋಸ್, ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್, ಸರ್ದಾರ್ ಪಟೇಲ್, ಲಾಲ್ ಬಹಾದ್ದೂರ್ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಯವರನ್ನೇ ಹೊಸಕಿಹಾಕಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿದ ನೆಹರು ಕುಟುಂಬ ಅಣ್ಣಾನ ಯಶಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಸಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೀತೆ? ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಅದರ ಎಲ್ಲ ಸೂಚನೆಗಳೂ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿವೆ.

ಇಂತಹ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯ ಫಲಕಗಳನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀಮಂತರ ಮನೆ ಮುಂದೆ ಕಾಣಬಹುದು. ಕಪಿಲ್ ಸಿಬಲ್, ವೀರಪ್ಪ ಮೊಯ್ಲಿ, ದಿಗ್ವಿಜಯ್ ಸಿಂಗ್, ಮನೀಶ್ ತಿವಾರಿಗಳಿರುವವರೆಗೂ ಸೋನಿಯಾ ಗಾಂಧಿಯವರಿಗೆ ಅಂತಹ ಅಗತ್ಯವೇ ಎದುರಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ! ಇವರು ವರ್ತಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದರೆ ಸೋನಿಯಾ ಮನೆ ಮುಂದೆ “Beware of Sibal, Moily, Digvijay singh and Tiwari” ಎಂದು ಹಾಕಬೇಕೇನೋ ಎಂದನಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇವರೇನು ಸಚಿವ ಮಹಾಶಯರೋ ಅಥವಾ ಸೋನಿಯಾ ಗಾಂಧಿಯವರ ಸಾಕು ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳೋ? ಲೋಕಾಯುಕ್ತ ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಹೆಗ್ಡೆಯವರ ಕ್ಷಮತೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಈ ದಿಗ್ವಿಜಯ್ ಸಿಂಗ್್ಗೇನಾದರೂ ಮತಿಭ್ರಮಣೆಯಾಗಿದೆಯೇ?
“ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಯೊಬ್ಬರು ಒಂದರ ಹಿಂದೆ ಒಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆತನಿಗೆ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್್ನ ಬೆಂಬಲವಿದೆ ಎಂದೇ ನಾನು ಭಾವಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ಹೇಳಿಕೆಗಳು ಸತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ದೂರವಾದವು. ಆತನ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಗೊಂದಲ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸುವುದು, ದಾರಿತಪ್ಪಿಸುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಲೋಕಪಾಲ ಮಸೂದೆ ಸಂಬಂಧ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಳುಗೆಡುವುದಾಗಿದೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಒಪ್ಪಿಗೆ ಇದೆಯೇ?” ಎಂದು ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 18ರಂದು ಸೋನಿಯಾ ಗಾಂಧಿಯವರಿಗೆ ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಪತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಣ್ಣಾ ಹಜಾರೆ ಬಹಳ ಮುಗ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾಡಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದೇ ಸೋನಿಯಾ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಎಂಬುದು ಎಂತಹ ಕಟುವಾಸ್ತವ ಅಲ್ಲವೇ?

Yet, if my memory serves me right, i think it was last year(or perhaps the year before ) that you’d praised Mrs Sonia G as a social worker whose only single concern is the all round development of our country! Perhaps it was the pressure from your superiors in the TOI office that might have made you write… It has had an effect on us.

Even if congressmen eat mud, these people say, ‘BJP people also ate mud so these people are entitled and have right to eat and it is tastiest thing on the earth’. Raja/Kalmadi are under investigation it is a normal process law should take its own course and time. But if Modi/Yeddi is under investigation, it is a crime and these people already declare that the should be hanged in public.(This applies to other parties including BJP as well).
Coming to the Anna Hazare, how can Congress tolerate a person who has praised Modi and non-congress man to grow. They would be spending sleepless nights (Unlike our DG who has Night less sleep) on how to terminate the growing popularity of Anna Hazare and likes. That is the reason Digvijay Sing barked.
