Dear Pratap Simha, in my opinion Mr.Narayana Murthy is the best person to inaugurate the world Kannada summit. as a fresh software engineer , I feel proud to say that I m starting my career in India’s most admired company, that is Infosys. and the whole world knows that Narayana murthy is the person behind the success of Infosys. Moreover he is kannadiga…our shameless government still not able to provide shelter for flood victims in north karnataka, but Infosys has given thousands of houses within a very short period. Mr.Baragoor, don’t just blame him, first you do something then you speak….

What Kannadigas need is an inspirational role model that they can look up to. Kannadigas have been reduced to do menial jobs like driver, attender and clerk, while cream of the jobs, directors, IAS officers are Bengalis, Tamils, and Punjabis.
Kannadigas suffer from inferiority complex and more Narayana Murthys will inspire us to come out of the mold of settling for a 8,000 pm government job. The more we drumbeat telling Kannada.. Kannada.. the more world laughs at us. Proof of the pudding is in eating. Lets achieve, even 1% of what Narayana Murthy did, and the world prostrates before us.

NRN’s contribution to Karnataka is larger than Baragur’s. The basic thing a person needs is a job to live. When he is not hungry and healthy then only he will think of literature. NRN has provided job for many kannadigas, not only engineers and MBA’s but also support staffs. And these people have generated so many opportunities around as when new people comes and settles in a place then so many local jobs gets created arround them including shops, markets, transport etc. Everyone is benefited here and economy is growing. When people are substantial enough moniterily then they will enjoy and contribute to ‘sahitya’ right?
If we, kannadiga’s don’t learn English, then how we will be compiting with others? Then we are forced to settle down to govt jobs and surely govt can not generate the jobs in this scale. Also people from other states enforcing their language here in bangalore is not due to NRN but ‘abhimanavillada’ kannadigas right?

Today India is known for IT Industry. Everyone in the world recognises Bengalooru
because of IT.
India’s overall growth and future depends upon this sole industry.
Especially citizens of Bangalore have progressed very high economically.
Almost every family in Bangalore has atleast one person who is a techie.
Almost each house has a car, though there is no car garage to park it, in places like Malleshwaram with narrow roads.
And this is the yeomen service to Karnataka from Mr.NM.

Kannada as a language is very rich. Kannada won’t be respected more by writing more Kannada poems. Kannadigas need to be empowered and Murthy has done more than Baragur for that.
Why is English respected? Is it because it is a beautiful language? Kannada is a well rounded language than that. Thank you very much. British have achieved, so English is commanding respect. Kannada will be respected by our achievement, not by writing more in Kannada.
It is not necessarily an issue on whether we talk or write in kannada unless we completely forget the usage. Any language doesn’t ask for recognition. It just follows the golden Charles Darwin Rule, The strongest survives.

For instance, English doesn’t mean the language for english speaking nations and when you look into it, It has more derived words than any other language on earth. It has derived words from latin to sanskrit, from french words to even hindi. I agree and respect the love for one’s language, but I look forward to respect other langauges as well. Language grows and becomes popular based on its necessity and usage. If we look back there are many more languages which are extinct, for example Pali, halegannada. If you ask me, these languages could not withstand the ages and hence do not exist. Languages are for better understanding and communication.

I will go with praveen bidari. Murthy is a best enterprenuer 7 software engineer, but not a good kannadiga. Standing outside, thinking many kannadigas are working in infy & got a good life becomes foolishness. Go inside infy & see how much tamilians & tellugus & mallayalis are working & dominating on kannadigas at manager level.
i also ask you, wht is the necessity to construct infy in hosur road? Is their is no space in tumkur road.
I accept Ms S.murthy did many social activities in public, but N.murthy just sits behind S.murth’s sarry coming to social activity & kannada language.

Kannada as a language is very rich. Kannada won’t be respected more by writing more Kannada poems. Kannadigas need to be empowered and Murthy has done more than Baragur for that.
Why is English respected? Is it because it is a beautiful language? Kannada is a well rounded language than that. Thank you very much. British have achieved, so English is commanding respect. Kannada will be respected by our achievement, not by writing more in Kannada.
It is not necessarily an issue on whether we talk or write in kannada unless we completely forget the usage. Any language doesn’t ask for recognition. It just follows the golden Charles Darwin Rule, The strongest survives.

For instance, English doesn’t mean the language for english speaking nations and when you look into it, It has more derived words than any other language on earth. It has derived words from latin to sanskrit, from french words to even hindi. I agree and respect the love for one’s language, but I look forward to respect other langauges as well. Language grows and becomes popular based on its necessity and usage. If we look back there are many more languages which are extinct, for example Pali, halegannada. If you ask me, these languages could not withstand the ages and hence do not exist. Languages are for better understanding and communication.
I really loved reading Pratap Simha’s article and it has more to offer in regard to the capitalistic nature of our bigwigs.

I will go with praveen bidari. Murthy is a best enterprenuer 7 software engineer, but not a good kannadiga. Standing outside, thinking many kannadigas are working in infy & got a good life becomes foolishness. Go inside infy & see how much tamilians & tellugus & mallayalis are working & dominating on kannadigas at manager level.
i also ask you, wht is the necessity to construct infy in hosur road? Is their is no space in tumkur road.
I accept Ms S.murthy did many social activities in public, but N.murthy just sits behind S.murth’s sarry coming to social activity & kannada language.
