ಕಾನ್ ಖೋಲ್ಕರ್ ಕೇಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ…ಮಿಸ್ಟರ್ ಖಾನ್!

My Name Is Khan. ಕಳೆದ ವಾರ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾದ ಈ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಒಂದೇ ಪದದಲ್ಲಿ ವರ್ಣಿಸುವುದಾದರೆ ‘Horrible’. ಎರಡು ಪದಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳುವುದಾದರೆ ‘Bull shit’, ಮೂರು ಪದಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಮರ್ಶಿಸುವುದಾದರೆ ‘It’s a torture’, ನಾಲ್ಕು ಪದಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಷರಾ ಬರೆಯುವುದಾದರೆ, ‘Pain in the ass’! ಮೂರು ತಾಸು ಕುಳಿತು ನೋಡಿ, ಹೀಗನಿಸದೇ ಹೋದರೆ ಹೇಳಿ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಊರ್ವಶಿ ಥಿಯೇಟರ್‌ಗೆ ‘ಅವತಾರ್’ ಚಿತ್ರ ನೋಡಲು ಕಳೆದ ಬಾರಿ ಹೋದಾಗ ಒಂದು ಕಪ್ ಕೋಕ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಪಾಪ್ ಕಾರ್ನ್ ಫ್ರೀ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು. ಅದೇ ಥಿಯೇಟರ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ತಾಸು ‘ಮೈ ನೇಮ್ ಈಸ್ ಖಾನ್’ ಈ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ ನಂತರ ಏನನ್ನಿಸುತ್ತದೆಯೆಂದರೆ-ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಜತೆಗೊಂದು ಅನಾಸಿನ್ ಏಕೆ ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ?
ಇಂಥದ್ದೊಂದು ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನೂ, ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮುನ್ನಾದಿನವಾದ ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 11ರಂದು ‘Go, watch MNIK’, “Give an answer to Shiv sena’ ಅಂತ ‘ಎನ್‌ಡಿಟಿವಿ’ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬರ್ಖಾ ದತ್ ಹಾಗೂ ‘ಸಿಎನ್‌ಎನ್-ಐಬಿಎನ್’ನಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ದೀಪ್ ಸರ್ದೇಸಾಯಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದುದನ್ನು ನೀವೇನಾದರೂ ನೋಡಿದ್ದರೆ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳು ಜನರನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ದಾರಿ ತಪ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಿವೆ ಎಂದನಿಸದೇ ಇರದು. ಎರಡೂ ವರೆ ತಿಂಗಳ ಹಿಂದಷ್ಟೇ, “ಸುದ್ದಿಗೂ ಕಾಸು” (Paid News) ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿರುವ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳ ಹುಳುಕಿನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಗರತಿಯಂತೆ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದ ಸರ್ದೇಸಾಯಿ ‘ಮೈ ನೇಮ್ ಈಸ್ ಖಾನ್’ ವಿಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಎಂತಹ ‘ಘನ’ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಎಂಬ ಅನುಮಾನ ಕಾಡಲಾರಂಭಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
ಅಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೂ ‘ಮೈ ನೇಮ್ ಈಸ್ ಖಾನ್’ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲೇನಿದೆ?
Mr. President(Bush), my name is KHAN. But I am not a terrorist… ಮಿಸ್ಟರ್ ಪ್ರೆಸಿಡೆಂಟ್, ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರು ಖಾನ್. ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕನಲ್ಲ… ಈ ಡೈಲಾಗ್ ಚಿತ್ರದುದ್ದಕ್ಕೂ ಅದೆಷ್ಟು ಬಾರಿ ಪುನರಾವರ್ತನೆಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆಯೆಂದರೆ ಕಿರಿಕಿರಿ, ಅಸಹ್ಯ, ವಾಕರಿಕೆ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಶುರುವಾಗುತ್ತವೆ. ‘ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರೆಲ್ಲ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕರಲ್ಲ’ ಎಂಬ ಒಂದು ಸಾಲಿನ ಸಂದೇಶ ಸಾರಲು ಮೂರು ತಾಸಿನ ಚಿತ್ರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೂ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರೆಲ್ಲ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕರು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿರುವುದಾದರೂ ಯಾರು? ಎಂತಹ ದಡ್ಡನೂ ಹಾಗೆ ಹೇಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೂ ಈ ಶಾರುಖ್‌ಗೇಕೆ ‘ಎಜ್ಝಿಠಿ’ ಕಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ? ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರೆಲ್ಲ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕರಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಬೊಬ್ಬೆ ಹಾಕುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವೇನಿದೆ? ಅಥವಾ ಅಂತಹ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾದರೂ ಏಕೆ?
ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆಯಾಗಿ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ, “ಖಾನ್” ಎಂಬ ಸರ್‌ನೇಮ್ ಇದ್ದವರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅಮೆರಿಕ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕರಂತೆ ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಲ್ಲಾ, 2001, ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 11 ರಂದು ವರ್ಲ್ಡ್ ಟ್ರೇಡ್ ಸೆಂಟರ್ ಮೇಲೆ ದಾಳಿ ಮಾಡಿ 2995 ಅಮಾಯಕ ಜನರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದ ಮಹಮದ್ ಅಟ್ಟಾ, ಅಬ್ದುಲಜೀಜ್ ಅಲೊಮರಿ, ಮಜೀದ್ ಮಕೀಬ್, ನವಾಬ್ ಅಲ್‌ಹಝ್ಮಿ, ಫಯೀದ್ ರಶೀದ್, ಮೊಹಮದ್ ಅಲ್‌ಗಮ್ದಿ, ಹಮ್ಝಾ ಅಲ್‌ಗಮ್ದಿ, ಖಾಲಿದ್ ಅಲ್ಮಿದಾರ್ ಯಾರು? ಇವರಿಗೆ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು, ಹಣ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಯಾವ ದೇಶಗಳು? ಆ ದಾಳಿಯ ನಂತರವೇ ಅಲ್ಲವೆ ಅಮೆರಿಕ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರನ್ನು ಅನುಮಾನದಿಂದ ಕಾಣಲು ಶುರು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು? ಹಲೋ ಮಿಸ್ಟರ್ ಶಾರುಖ್ ಖಾನ್, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಚಿತ್ರ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾದ ಮರುದಿನ ಪುಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಆರ್‌ಡಿಎಕ್ಸ್ ಸ್ಫೋಟದಲ್ಲಿ 11 ಜನ ಸತ್ತರು. ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದಿದ್ದಾರು? ಹೈದರಾಬಾದ್‌ನ ಲುಂಬಿನಿ ಗಾರ್ಡನ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಂಬ್ ಸ್ಫೋಟ, ಕೊಯಮತ್ತೂರು ಬ್ಲಾಸ್ಟ್, ಅಹಮದಾಬಾದ್, ಸೂರತ್ ಬಾಂಬ್ ಸ್ಫೋಟ, ಸ್ಟೇನ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಟ್ರೇನ್ ಬಾಂಬಿಂಗ್, ಲಂಡನ್ ಬಾಂಬಿಂಗ್, ಅಕ್ಷರಧಾಮ ಅಟ್ಯಾಕ್, ಪಾರ್ಲಿಮೆಂಟ್ ಅಟ್ಯಾಕ್, ಮುಂಬೈ ಅಟ್ಯಾಕ್ ಯಾರು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು? ಆ ದಯಾಮಯಿ ದೇವರ ಹೆಸರು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡು ಆತಂಕವಾದ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಯಾರು? ಅನ್ಯಧರ್ಮೀಯರ ಮಕ್ಕಳು, ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಕ್ರಮಣ ಮಾಡುವ ಹೀನಕೃತ್ಯವೆಸಗುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಯಾರಪ್ಪಾ? ನಿಮ್ಮ “ಖಾನ್” ಹೆಸರು ಕೇಳಿದ ಕೂಡಲೇ ‘ಕಾನ್’ಗಳು(ಕಿವಿ) ಅರಳಿ ಅನುಮಾನ ಪಡುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂಬುದೇ ನಿಮಗೆ ಒಂದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಅವಮಾನ ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸುವುದಾದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಧರ್ಮೀಯರ ಬಾಂಬ್ ದಾಳಿಗೆ ಸಿಲುಕಿ ಅಪ್ಪ-ಅಮ್ಮನನ್ನು, ಹೆಂಡತಿ-ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯ ನೋವು, ಹತಾಶೆ ಏನಿರಬಹುದು ಯೋಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀರಾ? ಅನ್ಯ ಧರ್ಮೀಯರ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವಾಗ ಅವರಿಗೂ ನೋವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಏಕೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಅರ್ಥವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ? ಇಸ್ರೇಲ್, ಅಮೆರಿಕದ ವಿಷಯ ಬಿಡಿ, ಭಾರತೀಯರಾದ ನಾವು ನಿಮಗೇನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ? ಏಕೆ ರಸ್ತೆ, ರೆಸ್ಟೋರೆಂಟ್, ಮನೆ, ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಂಬ್ ಸಿಡಿಸಿ ಕೊಲ್ಲುತ್ತಾರೆ? ಹಾಗೆ ಕೊಲ್ಲುತ್ತಿರುವವರಾರು? ಮುಲ್ಲಾ ಉಮರ್, ಒಸಾಮಾ ಬಿನ್ ಲಾಡೆನ್, ಮೊಹಮದ್ ಅಲ್ ಝರ್ಖಾವಿ, ಇಲ್ಯಾಸ್ ಕಶ್ಮೀರಿ ಯಾವ ಧರ್ಮದವರು? ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕರಿಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಧರ್ಮವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಸಮಾಜಾಯಿಷಿ ಕೊಡುವುದಾದರೆ ಅವರನ್ನೇಕೆ ‘Own’ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೀರಿ? ಮೈ ನೇಮ್ ಈಸ್ ಖಾನ್ ಚಿತ್ರ ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಫ್ಲಾಪ್ ಆದರೂ ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನ, ಬ್ರಿಟನ್, ಅರಬ್ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಫುಲ್‌ಹೌಸ್ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಏಕೆ? ಲಾಡೆನ್, ಮುಲ್ಲಾ ಉಮರ್‌ನ ಪೋಸ್ಟರ್‌ಗಳನ್ನಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಕರಾಚಿ, ಇಸ್ಲಾಮಾಬಾದ್, ಢಾಕಾಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಣ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಣೆ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಎಂತಹ ಮನಸ್ಥಿತಿ? ಸಮಾಜಘಾತಕರನ್ನು ಹೀರೋಗಳೆಂಬಂತೆ ಬಿಂಬಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವವವರು ಯಾರು? ಅನುಮಾನಪಡುವಂತಹ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವವರಾರು? ಈ ಜಗತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಜಾತಿ, ವರ್ಗ, ಪಂಗಡ, ಧರ್ಮಗಳಿವೆ. ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಮನುಕುಲಕ್ಕೆ ಕಂಟಕವಾದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಯಾವ ಒಂದು ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟ ಸಮುದಾಯವನ್ನೂ ಅನುಮಾನದಿಂದ ಕಾಣದೇ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಶಂಕೆಯಿಂದ ನೋಡುವುದೇಕೆ?
ಖಂಡಿತ ಹಿಂದೂಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ದೇಶದ್ರೋಹಿಗಳು, ಸಮಾಜಘಾತಕರು ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಜನರಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹಿಂಸೆಯನ್ನು ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದನೆ ಎನ್ನುವುದಾದರೆ ನಕ್ಸಲರೂ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕರೇ. ನಕ್ಸಲರೆಲ್ಲ ಹಿಂದೂಗಳೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಯಾವ ಹಿಂದೂ ಕೂಡ ನಕ್ಸಲರನ್ನು ‘ನಮ್ಮವನು’ ಎಂದು Own ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಮಾಜಘಾತಕ ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳು, ಬಂದೂಕಿನ ಪ್ರಯೋಗದಿಂದಲೇ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಟ್ಟಹಾಕ ಬೇಕು ಎನ್ನುತ್ತೇವೆ. ‘ಆಪರೇಶನ್ ಗ್ರೀನ್ ಹಂಟ್’ ಎಂಬ ಗೌಪ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಸದ್ದಿಲ್ಲದೆ ನಕ್ಸಲರನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುತ್ತಿರುವುದೂ ಹಿಂದೂ ಸೈನಿಕರೇ. ಆದರೆ ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನಿ ಸೈನಿಕರು, ಐಎಸ್‌ಐ ಏಕೆ ಜಿಹಾದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾರೆ? ಇದೆಂಥಾ ಮನಸ್ಥಿತಿ? ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪೀನ್ಸ್, ಥಾಯ್ಲೆಂಡ್, ಚೀನಾ, ಅಮೆರಿಕ, ಬ್ರಿಟನ್ ಎಲ್ಲ ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕತೆಯನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಾಕಿರುವವರು, ಧರ್ಮಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅಮಾಯಕರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಾಂಬ್ ದಾಳಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಲ್ಲುತ್ತಿರುವವರು ಯಾವ ಧರ್ಮದವರು? ಯಾವ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪೀನ್ಸ್, ಥಾಯ್ಲೆಂಡ್‌ನ ಕೆಲ ಭಾಗಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಚೀನಾದ ಕ್ಷಿನ್‌ಜಿಯಾಂಗ್ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯ ತಮಗೆ ಸೇರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಇಸ್ಲಾಮಿಕ್ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕರು ಪ್ರತಿಪಾದಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ? ನೀವು ಬಹುಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರಾಗುತ್ತಾ ಹೋಗುವ ಒಂದೊಂದೇ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ, ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕತಾ ಚಳವಳಿ ಆರಂಭಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬು ದಕ್ಕೆ ಖಾತ್ರಿಯೇನು? ಅಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೂ ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರವನ್ನು ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನ ತನ್ನ ದೆಂದು ಯಾವ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರತಿಪಾದಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರಿಗರು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಯಾವ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೋರಾಟಕ್ಕಿಳಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ? ಇಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡು ತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಭಾವನೆಯೇ ಅಲ್ಲವೆ? ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರು ಬಹುಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರಾದರೆ ಉಳಿದವರ ಕಥೆ ಏನಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬುದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರಕ್ಕಿಂತ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಉದಾಹರಣೆ ಬೇಕೆ?
ಮ್ಯಾಚ್ ಫಿಕ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ಹಗರಣ ಬೆಳಕಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅಜರುದ್ದೀನ್‌ನನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಕಿತ್ತುಹಾಕಿದೆವೋ ಅಜಯ್ ಜಡೇಜಾ, ನಿಖಿಲ್ ಚೋಪ್ರಾನನ್ನೂ ಅಷ್ಟೇ ನಿರ್ದಯವಾಗಿ ಆಚೆ ಹಾಕಿದೆವು. ಅಜಯ್ ಜಡೇಜಾ ಆರೋಪ ಮುಕ್ತನಾಗಿ ಹೊರಬಂದರೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಅನುಮಾನ ಹೋಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಅಜರ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನು? ಆರೋಪವನ್ನು ತಳ್ಳಿಹಾಕಿ ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ಎದುರಿಸುವ ಬದಲು, ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಮೊರೆ ಹೋಗುವ ಬದಲು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡ ಕೂಡಲೇ ‘ನಾನು ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮನೆಂಬ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬಲಿಪಶು ಮಾಡಲಾಗು ತ್ತಿದೆ’ ಎಂದಿದ್ದರು! ಆ ಮೂಲಕ ತಾನೊಬ್ಬ ದೇಶದ್ರೋಹಿ ಎಂದು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಅಂತಹ ದೇಶದ್ರೋಹಿಯನ್ನು ಇವತ್ತು ಸಂಸತ್ತಿಗೆ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದು ಯಾರು? ಹೈದರಾಬಾದ್‌ನ ಅಜರ್‌ನನ್ನು ಉತ್ತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಮೊರಾದಾಬಾದ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಚುನಾವಣೆಗೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದೇಕೆ? ಮೊರಾದಾಬಾದ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರೇ ಬಹುಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರು ಎಂಬ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕಲ್ಲವೆ? ಆತ್ಮಾವಲೋಕನ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎನಿಸುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲವೆ? ಹಿಂದೂಗಳೂ ಕೂಡ ದರೋಡೆಕೋರರನ್ನು, ಮೋಸಗಾರರನ್ನು ಗೆಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗಳು ಇವೆ. ಆದರೆ ದೇಶ ದ್ರೋಹಿಯೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಎಂದಾದರೂ ಗೆಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರಾ? ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಸಮುದಾಯದ ‘Ghetto Mentality’ ಕಾಣುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೆ?
೨೦೦೨ರಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಗುಜರಾತ್ ಹಿಂಸಾಚಾರದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ರಾಕೇಶ್ ಶರ್ಮಾ, ರಾಹುಲ್ ಧೋಲಾಕಿಯಾ ಮುಂತಾದ ಹಿಂದೂಗಳೇ ಮೋದಿ ಸರಕಾರ ಹಾಗೂ ಹಿಂದೂ ಕಟ್ಟರ್ ಪಂಥೀಯರನ್ನು ಟೀಕಿಸಿ ಸಾಕ್ಷ್ಯಚಿತ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿದರು. ಗುಜರಾತ್ ಹಿಂಸಾಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ತ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 700. ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರ ಉಗ್ರವಾದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಲಿಯಾದವರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 10 ಸಾವಿರಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು. 7 ಲಕ್ಷ ಹಿಂದೂಗಳು ಇಂದಿಗೂ ನಿರಾಶ್ರಿತರ ಶಿಬಿರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಯಾವ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರು ಒಂದು ಸಾಕ್ಷ್ಯಚಿತ್ರ, ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ? ಐಪಿಎಲ್ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಭುಗಿಲೆದ್ದ ವಿವಾದದ ಬೆನ್ನಲ್ಲೇ, “Pakistanis are good neighbours” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದಿರಲ್ಲಾ ಶಾರುಖ್ ಖಾನ್, ಹಾಗೆನ್ನಲು ನಿಮಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಾದರೂ ಹೇಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ? 2008, ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 26ರಂದು ಮುಂಬೈ ಮೇಲೆ ದಾಳಿ ಮಾಡಿ 183ರನ್ನು ಹತ್ಯೆ ಮಾಡಿದವರು ಯಾವ ದೇಶದವರು? ಕಸಬ್ ಎಲ್ಲಿಯವನು? ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದುವರೆಗೂ ನಡೆದಿರುವ ಬಾಂಬ್ ಸ್ಫೋಟಗಳಿಗೆಲ್ಲ ಯಾವ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಕಾರಣ? ಐಪಿಎಲ್ ಗಲಾಟೆಯ ನಂತರ ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನದ ವೇಗದ ಬೌಲರ್ ಸೊಹೈಲ್ ತನ್ವೀರ್ ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನು ಗೊತ್ತೆ? ಏಕೆ ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನಿಯರನ್ನು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ, “ಹಿಂದೂಗಳ ಝೆಹಿನಿಯತ್ (ಹುಟ್ಟುಗುಣವೇ) ಅಂಥದ್ದು” ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ! ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಧ್ವನಿಗೂಡಿಸಿದ ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನಿ ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತನೊಬ್ಬ, “ಬಾಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಮ್ ರಾಮ್, ಬಗಲಲ್ಲಿ ಚೂರಿ” ಎಂದು ಹಿಂದೂಗಳನ್ನು ಟೀಕಿಸಿದ. ‘ಸಾಮ್ನಾ’ದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಳಾ ಠಾಕ್ರೆ ಬರೆಯುವ ಒಂದೊಂದು ಸಾಲನ್ನೂ ದೊಡ್ಡ ವಿವಾದವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಪರಿವರ್ತಿಸುವ ಭಾರತದ ಸೆಕ್ಯುಲರ್ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳು ಸೊಹೈಲ್ ತನ್ವೀರ್‌ನ ಅವಹೇಳನಕಾರಿ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಿತವಾಗಿ ಮರೆಮಾಚಿದವು ಎಂಬುದು ಬೇರೆ ಮಾತು. ಆದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ‘ಮೈ ನೇಮ್ ಈಸ್ ಖಾನ್’ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಮೋಟ್ ಮಾಡಲು ಹಗಲೂ ರಾತ್ರಿ ‘Tweete’ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೀರಲ್ಲಾ ಶಾರುಖ್ ಖಾನ್, ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ‘ಯು ಟ್ಯೂಬ್’ಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಸೊಹೈಲ್ ತನ್ವೀರ್‌ನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಿವಿಯಾರೆ ಕೇಳಿ, ಕಣ್ಣಾರೆ ನೋಡಿ… ಇಂತಹ ಮನಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಹೊಂದಿದವ ರಿಂದಲೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿರುವ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಜನರನ್ನು ಯಾವ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ, ‘ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನಿಯರು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ನೆರೆಹೊರೆಯವರು’ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀರಿ?
ನಿಮ್ಮದು ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಸಂಕುಚಿತ ಮನಸ್ಥಿತಿ.
ಶ್ರೀಲಂಕಾದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮದೇ ಆದ ತಮಿಳರು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕತಾ ಚಳವಳಿ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದಾಗ ನಾವೆಂದೂ ಬೆಂಬಲ ನೀಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಗಲಾಟೆ, ಮುಷ್ಕರಗಳಾಗಿರಬಹುದು. ಆದರೆ ಪ್ರಭಾಕರನ್‌ನ ಮಟ್ಟಹಾಕಲು 1987ರಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮದೇ ಸೇನೆಯನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದೆವು. ಅದರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ತಮಿಳಿಗರು ಬಿಟ್ಟರೆ ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ ಹಿಂದೂ ಸಮಾಜ ಎಂದೂ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಇಸ್ರೇಲ್‌ನಲ್ಲೋ, ಇರಾಕ್‌ನಲ್ಲೋ ಗಲಾಟೆಯಾದರೆ ನೀವು ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಏಕೆ ಬೊಬ್ಬೆ ಹಾಕುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಬಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಕಲ್ಲು ಹೊಡೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ?
ಮೈ ನೇಮ್ ಈಸ್ ಖಾನ್ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ದೃಶ್ಯ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ. ಅಮೆರಿಕದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರ ಜತೆ ಔತಣಕೂಟ ಏರ್ಪಾಡಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಶುಲ್ಕವಾಗಿ 500 ಡಾಲರ್ ನೀಡಬೇಕಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಶಾರುಖ್ ಖಾನ್ ಹಣ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಪಡೆಯಲು ಹೋದಾಗ, ‘Honey, this is only for Christians’ ಎಂದು ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಕೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾಳೆ! ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತರು ಎಲ್ಲಾದರೂ, ಎಂದಾದರೂ ನಿಧಿ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಣೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವೊಂದನ್ನು ‘For Christians Only’ ಎಂದು ನಿರ್ಬಂಧಿಸಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದೀರಾ? ಮತಾಂತರದ ವಿಷಯ ದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವೆಷ್ಟೇ ದೂರಿದರೂ ಉದಾರತೆ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತರ ಬಗ್ಗೆಯಾಗಲಿ, ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಬಗೆಗಾಗಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ಬೆರಳು ತೋರಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಷ್ಟಾಗಿಯೂ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತರನ್ನು ಕೀಳಾಗಿ ಚಿತ್ರಿಸುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವೇನಿತ್ತು? ಇವತ್ತು ಯಾವುದೋ ಒಂದು ಧರ್ಮೀಯರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅನುಮಾನಪಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಜಗತ್ತೇ ಶಂಕೆಯಿಂದ ನೋಡು ತ್ತಿದೆ, ಏಕೆ?
‘ಮೈ ನೇಮ್ ಈಸ್ ಖಾನ್’ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೆ ಮೊದಲು ಎದ್ದಿದ್ದ ವಿವಾದದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎನ್‌ಡಿಟಿವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಸಂದರ್ಶನದ ವೇಳೆ, ‘ಶಾರುಖ್ ಖಾನ್ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂ ಎಂಬ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಇಷ್ಟು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಗಲಾಟೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀರಾ?’ ಎಂದು ಶಿವಸೇನೆ ನಾಯಕ ಉದ್ಧವ್ ಠಾಕ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ಬರ್ಖಾ ದತ್ ಕೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಹಿಂದೂಗಳೇನಾದರೂ ಶಾರುಖ್ ಖಾನ್, ಆಮೀರ್ ಖಾನ್, ಸಲ್ಮಾನ್ ಖಾನ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರೆಂಬಂತೆ ಕಂಡಿದ್ದರೆ ಏನಾಗಿರುತ್ತಿತ್ತು? ಸೂಪರ್‌ಸ್ಟಾರ್‌ಗಳಾಗುವುದು ಬಿಡಿ, ಕಿರುತೆರೆ ನಟರೂ ಆಗಿರುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಶಾರುಖ್ ಖಾನ್ ಇವತ್ತು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಹೀರೋ ಆಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂದೂಗಳ ಪ್ರೀತಿ, ವಿಶ್ವಾಸವೂ ಕಾರಣ. ಅಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೂ ನಾವು ಶಾರುಖ್, ಆಮೀರ್, ಸಲ್ಮಾನ್, ಬಿಸ್ಮಿಲ್ಲಾ ಖಾನ್, ಅಮ್ಜದ್ ಅಲಿ ಖಾನ್, ಎ.ಆರ್. ರೆಹಮಾನ್, ಅಲ್ಲಾ ರಖಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ ಕಲಾಂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಭಾರತೀಯರೆಂಬಂತೆ ಕಂಡಿದ್ದೇವೆಯೇ ಹೊರತು ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರೆಂದಲ್ಲ. ನಮಗೆಂದೂ ಅವರ ಧರ್ಮ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಆ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ಇಷ್ಟೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬರೆಯಬೇಕಾಯಿತು. ಯಾರೋ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಇಂಥದ್ದೊಂದು ಚಿತ್ರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರೆ ನಾವೂ ತಲೆಕೆಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಶಾರುಖ್ ಖಾನ್ ಒಬ್ಬ ಜನಪ್ರಿಯ ನಟ. ಆತ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿಜವೆಂದು ನಂಬುವ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಜನರಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರನ್ನು ದಾರಿತಪ್ಪಿಸುವ, ವೈಷಮ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಾಕುವ ಚಿತ್ರ ಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವುದು ಸರಿಯಲ್ಲ. ಸರ್ಫರೋಶ್, ಲಗಾನ್, ತಾರೆ ಜಮೀನ್ ಪರ್, 3 ಈಡಿಯಟ್ಸ್ ಮುಂತಾದ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸಂದೇಶಗಳನ್ನೊಳಗೊಂಡ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಆಮೀರ್ ಖಾನ್‌ರಿಂದ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವಾದರೂ ಕಲಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳಿ. ಇಲ್ಲವಾದರೆ ಮುಂದೊಂದು ದಿನ ಜನರೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ Sharukh Sucks.

Sharukh is only responsible for the violence which occured during his film release and one more thing he has to clear why he didnt select a single pak player during bid of IPL3 for him all the options were open at that time he didnt said anything when his film set to release he said its very unfortunate no pak players are in IPL for the publicity of his film…

I was thinking that MNIK is a really great movie and I could make out only one major loop hole in the plot. Kajol was married to Shahrukh and when she learns about her son’s death was related to religious hatred, she leaves “Khan”.When a married woman, Kajol, can leave her husband because he is muslim, then what about the rest of the world? I dont know is anyone really noticing this point or not. Despite this loop in the plot, reviewers gave it a 5 star this means evryone has a price.

Why did SRK expressed his deepest concerns for Pak players?

I am shocked why NDTV, TOI or rediff websites never realized and went on bluffing all innocent Indian minds. I never liked Sena or MNS for their ideologies. But they had a point to say this time but they didn’t put it right and made big halla gulla and opportunistic SRK again captured his self made controversy to his maximum use. If there was not any controversy for sure this movie would have got flopped within 2 weeks in India. I always had a high respect to Bharkha Dutt but after this incident I hesitate to see her face hereafter. There was strong nexus between these media and SRK to use it as a promotion particulary NDTV, TOI and Rediff. How much time and space they spent..unbelievable !! NDTV reported that MNIK tickets were sold at 1000 euros on ebay in Berlin Film Festival. I live here in Hamburg, Germany and I was looking for tickets. To tell you the fact the highest price for the ticket was 110 euros and the average price was 40-60 euros. Everyone can check it on ebay.de I had never seen before NDTV sensationalizing a fake news like this !! Honestly speaking, I have lost my belief to an appreciable level on this channels and websites. SRK and Karan Johar made the maximum use of all this for sure. I hate this opportunistic SRK. I was a fan of him before but not anymore pleaseeeeeee

I feel SRK is just trying to market his film and he is successful in it. If he had really wanted Pak players to be played in IPL, he would have made sure KKR team to have PAK players. Secondly blabbering some nonsense in support of Pak players or Pakistan (great neighbor) simply shows how selfish or might be ignorant about history and current situations also. Meanwhile English media (so called intellectuals) who are good speaker and could think on their feet hell bent on showing Indians as totally communal and narrow minded. Also, recently in a documentary on SRK in discovery, he claimed that he would speak his mind out at that time hence what ever he would said 6 months back would have relevance now or vice-versa… what a statement 😉 It just shows that he is nothing more than a opportunist.
It is time to build up the skill in Hindus speak like intellectuals and tackle way they understand, strategies or ideologies of Shivsena are only going make Hindus look fools. They should call on debate with so called intellectuals and defeat them in media.
Lastly Trust with Muslims can only be built on truth, the truth which everyone (Muslims) admit, only then trust building measures start falling in place. One can always tell that I need not hoist flag or by shouting that I am an Indian before anything to prove a person is Indian. Also, majority of muslims may not be anti Indian/Hindu. However I do believe when somebodies patriotism is questioned, then it is their duty come out and prove it and build the trust. This kind of action is not all shown by Muslim community.
Pratap, I request you to write such articles in English to get noticed an bring the awareness, also I am sure you would be attacked by so called intellectuals 🙂

well the movie was not as bad as you have commented..and you cannot blame sharukh because he has also done movies like swades and chakde.. MNIK is just a movie and he is a actor who has done the job really well..

its a wonderful writing…. we (hindus) are not thinking all the muslims as the pepole who are the terrorists…. and we are also not tried to “jihad” as muslims becz we want all community pepoles in our life. But muslims (not all) are trying to be the dominants by the way of terrorism……. regards dear pratap. i think it is time for us to scrutinize ourselves before criticizing them. it is we the Hindus who have let them grow. we are “Hindu” in the literal sense of it in Kannada. if one of my college mates who is from the other religion could boldly announce Pakistan as a better country than India and could defend the doltish ball biting act of shahid afridi as bravery by blood, and could still walk around freely , it is we who are the real culprits. i feel really sorry to say this but it seems as if we are getting helpless. it is of course any religion’s right for that matter to promote itself but it has no right to demote others and that is what is happening. the movie has conceived these thoughts in my mind. really concerned about where it all ends.
