I would like to inform you that, I am unable to continue my service at Vijaykarnataka since I had publicly taken a oath to work ONLY under Vishweshwar Bhat, whom I adore and emulate. I kindly request you to relieve me from my service.
Well, Sureshji, I know I am going to miss your smiles and little chit-chat. Anyways, thank you for your faith and co-operation. I wish you the very best. Please kindly do the needful.

My beloved readers, this is text of my resignation which I sent to our HR Suresh. Yes, I have tendered my resignation since I cannot work under anyone except VISHWESHWAR BHAT. Guyz, wait for few more days or months, we will come up with something really BIG. Have faith in our ability and integrity. Don’t give heed to rumour mills and SLANDEROUS campaign by “Intellectually impotent”(Vichara Napumsaka) thugs. I will SHOOT myself, rather letting you down. I hope, you will continue to love me even in the SHORT absence of Bettale Jagattu.

Writing this after reading shocking allegations made by Mr. Ravi Belagere in the recent edition of Hai Bengaluru. I keen to hear the reply from Pratap ji, reason is very simple…I have been regular reader of Pratap and seen lot of courage & patriotism in him but reading that article I am bit annoyed with the content I believe explanation from Pratap would really make it black and white also it may clear the doubts which many of readers like me have about genuineness of the report published. The silence from Pratap may rather fuel the matter and people may end up thinking his silence as acceptance so please clarify the matter and keep doing god work…

There is nothing in Vijaya Karnataka without Vishveshvar Bhat ji and you. Cannot imagine a VK like that. This was my biggest worry when Times Group bought VK. Shri Vijay Sankeshvar should not have sold the paper.
Our support is always with you. As you have said, come back soon with that BIG thing.

btw, what is the reason for two of yours exit from VK? Times group pressure to make it more Lavalavike type? Direct criticism of Barkha and Vir Sanghvi? or something we cannot even imagine of?
Knowing the intentions and objectives of Times group, I had expected VB, you and other similar minded people to be sent out of Vika as soon as they took over Vika.
It was a pleasant surprise when they didn’t. And now, I know I was at least right in gauging Times group.
Never mind, it was bound to happen someday Pratap. Will miss Bettale Jagattu for some days. These things help to come back really strong. Will wait for that BIG BANG day. All the best to you and VB and your like minded group.

In 2006 I came to B’lore, one of my friends gave me piece of paper n asked to read, and I said Just F’O. I have lot of other work to do… I just walked out, when I came back home in the evening, there was a bundle of papers. Jus I said jobless guy wasting his time by cutting some papers from news paper and walked into bed room. There was a piece of paper with Headline “Gandhi, ondu prashnege uthara kodu†{I am not able to remember that head line}. Wrote about Gandhi. I read it.wow; I was stunned for a moment. I have ever read such a strong and truthful {Without color} and which lots of people did not know about ,I was rush to that paper bundle and opened it there were around 40 articles, I have read all 40 articles in a night… my friend came from Ofz early in the morning. I was not able to thank him enough. Since that day, I am a big fan of you, a big MAD of your article, writing style. I can’t thank you enough. U brought a lot of things to people notice.
You came out and wrote a book about Gali reddy Brother, where No journalist dare to speak about them. It came to know the people about, why nobody is writing about them.
Since that I never miss to read your articles, I bought all volume of ‘BETTHALE JAGATTHU’

And think stop reading the paper. I got shocked last Saturday when saw there is no article from u. I thought something missed. But now I realised and hope for the best, i’ll wait for u and Bhat sir.

The favorite paper V.K. started to smell like our English Media. So we unsubscribed it on Dec 1 to see other nationalist papers. Within a week, the resignation news. I think you guys were also feeling the same. Waiting for that “BIG” from you.

Really!!! I really dont want to buy HB..I have read it years ago because of the masala stories in it..but one man news paper which exists only because of masala crime stories(or made stories)…is not worth buying atleast by the youth who know what is a credible news..
