I must admit you are an impulsive writer, i don’t know what makes you choose a subject but of all the wonderful features in this magnificently diverse country, did u choose to write about someone whom, i believe, you yourself hate. Sonia Gandhi and her conviction? I don’t know if you read it once again now you might regret for what have given into your impulse. May be there is no good alternative to congress after ATAL Sir but that doesn’t mean you have to sympathize Sonia.

Do you ever believe after Indira(Whom also i sternly hate) their lineage is capable of taking their own decisions? How can you whom i started to respect so much change your state just because she started playing the game smartly after initial blunders. How can you be so sharp in other articles and act blinder in this one?

I hate to guess that even you might have been a victim of external forces.Did you?If not, Why, in the name of God, you chose to make Sonia an icon?

Its indeed good article but it didnt bring 2 sides of UPA and Sonia. You have just given the positives of her leadership n performance over last 6 years. What about price rise,terrorism,naxalism,threat from other neigbour country.etc and list goes on. The biggest is price rise issue,have u seen how a middle class n lower middle class people living in this country today? Price rise will not affect upper class cos they can afford it, it wont affect poors because they get food at subsidized rate on green card and other government facilities..What about middle class people sir? they are the one who are suffering. Its disapointing to see such article wherein u didnt give clear picture and mis guided the middle class people which is majority in karnataka. I dont mind you praising Sonia cos indeed she has done good things for Congress,but not to India at broad level. Hope we dont get to see such articles again.

ಇನ್ನೂ ಕೆಲವೊಂದು ವಿಷಯಗಳಿವೆ, ಅನಂತ ಮೂರ್ತಿಯವರು ಏನನ್ನು ಬರೆದಿದ್ದಾರೊ ನಾನು ಯಾವುದೆ ಬರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಓದಿಲ್ಲ, ಓದಲು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡವನ್ನು ಓದಬೇಕು ಅನಿಸದೆ ಎತ್ತಿಟ್ಟದ್ದು ನೆನಪಿದೆ, ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಜ್ನಾನಪೀಠ ಬಂದಿದ್ದು ನನಗೂ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಕರ, ಆತ ಸಾಹಿತಿ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ರಾಜಕೀಯ, ರಾಜಕೀಯದ ಮಾತುಗಳಲ್ಲೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಹೆಸರು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬುದು ನನ್ನ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ. ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಮಾತು ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಶಿವರಾಮ ಕಾರಂತರ ಮೂಕಜ್ಜಿಯ ಕನಸುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮರಳಿ ಮಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಕ್ರತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಓದಲು ತಂದುಕೊಂಡೆ ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಓದಲಿಕ್ಕೆ ಶುರು ಮಾಡಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅದರ ತಲೆ ಬುಡವೆ ಅರ್ಥವಾಗದಂತಾಗಿ ಮುಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ತೆಗೆದು ಓದುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮಾಡಿಲ್ಲ, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಬಾಷಾ ಪಾಂಡಿತ್ಯದ ಕೊರತೆಯದೂ ತಪ್ಪಿರಬಹುದು. ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಕಂಡಂತೆ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪಡೆದಂತಹ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಯಾರು ಓದುವುದೆ ಇಲ್ಲ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪಡೆದ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ನೋಡುವುದೆ ಇಲ್ಲ (ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಓದುವವರು ಮತ್ತು ನೋಡುವವರು ಅಂದರೆ ವಿಮರ್ಶಕರು, ಸಾಹಿತಿಗಳು, ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ನೀಡುವವರು ಅಷ್ಟೆ).

ಕೋನೆಯ ಮಾತು, ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ರವಿ ಬೆಳಗೆರೆಯವರ ಹಾಯ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರ್ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಬರೆಯುವುದನ್ನು ಲೇವಡಿ ಮಾಡುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ,ಇರಲಿ ಪತ್ರಿಕೊದ್ಯಮ ಅಂದಮೇಲೆ, ಪತ್ರಿಕೋದ್ಯಮವೇ ಅಂತಲ್ಲ ಯಾವುದೆ ವ್ರತ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ, ಭಿನ್ನಾಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಗಳು, ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ಅನಿವಾರ್ಯ ಹಾಗು ನಿರಂತರ ಅದನ್ನ ಯಾರು ತಡೆಯುವದಕ್ಕಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಮುಂಚಿನಿಂದಲೂ ನಾನು ರವಿ ಅವರ ಬರಹಗಳನ್ನ ಬಹುಶ ನನ್ನ ೧೫ ನೆ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಓದುತ್ತ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಅವರ ನಿಲುವು, ಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತಗಳು ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಬದಲಾಗಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬುದು ನನ್ನ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ (ನನ್ನ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ). ರವಿ ಬಂದ ಹೊಸತರಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಮತ್ತು ಲಂಕೇಶ್ ಮಧ್ಯೆಯೂ ಇಂತಹ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ಏರ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು, ರವಿಗಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ನಾನು ಲಂಕೇಶ್ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ ಓದುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ, ನೆನಪಿರಲಿ ಅವತ್ತಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಹೈ ಸ್ಕೂಲ್ ಪಡ್ಡೆ, ನನ್ನಂತವರನ್ನೆ ಸೆಳೆಯುವ ಮೊನಚು ಲಂಕೇಶ್ ಬರಹಕ್ಕಿತ್ತು, ಆದರೆ ಈವತ್ತು ಏನಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರೆ ಲಂಕೇಶ್ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ ತೆರೆದರೆ ಬಯ್ಯುವುದು, ಹೀಯಾಳಿಸುವುದು, ಕಾಲೆಳೆಯುವುದು ಬರಿ ಇಂತವೆ ಬರಹಗಳು, ಇರಲಿ ಲಂಕೇಶ್ ತೀರಿ ಹೋದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ ಏನಾಯಿತು ಎಂಬುದು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ತಿಳಿದಿರುವ ವಿಷಯ, ನಿಮಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಸಲಹೆ ಇಷ್ಟೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಿಲುವನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತಗಳನ್ನು ಯಾವ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೂ ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಬೇಡಿ, ಹಾಗೆಂದು ಕೆಟ್ಟ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ದಾರಿ ತುಳಿಯುತ್ತೆನೆಂದಾಗ ಆತನನ್ನು ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸಬರದು ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ…………………………………………………………..
ಆದರೆ ರಾಜಕಾರಣಿಗಳ ವಿಷಯ ಬಂದಾಗ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಇರಬೇಕಾದುದು, ಬರೆಯ ಬೇಕಾದುದು ಮುಖ್ಯ, ೧೫ ವರ್ಷ ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದೂ ದೇಶದ ಪೌರತ್ವ ಪಡೆಯದ ಸೋನಿಯಾ ನಂತರ ಪೌರತ್ವ ಪಡೆದು ರಾಜೀವ್ ಹತ್ಯೆಯ ಕೆಲ ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ರಾಜಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು, ಬಂದ ೬ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲೆ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರು ಎಂದರೆ, ಮತ್ತು ಇಷ್ಟೆಲ್ಲಾ ರಿಸ್ಕ್ ಗಳನ್ನು (ಅಣುಬಂಧ, ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮೀಸಲು ಮಸೂದೆ) ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಜನಪ್ರಿಯತೆ ಗಳಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದರೆ, ಅದರ ಹಿಂದೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಕುಡಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಗಾದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೂರಿಸಬೇಕು ನಂತರ ಸಾಯುವ ವರೆವಿಗು ಅದನ್ನು ಕಣ್ಣಿಂದ ನೋಡಬೇಕು ಎಂಬ ದುರಾಸೆ ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಮತ್ತೆನಿಲ್ಲ. ಬೇಕಿದ್ದರೆ ಮುಂದೆ ನೋಡಿ ರಾಹುಲ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಅವರು ಪ್ರಧಾನಿಯಗುವ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗಿಂತ ಹಿರಿಯರು, ಅನುಭವಿಗಳು, ಸಜ್ಜನರು ಇದ್ದರೂ ಅವೆಲ್ಲ ರಾಹುಲ್ ಗಾಂಧಿಯ ಮುಂದೆ ಗೌಣವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದು ಇಂಡಿಯಾ, ಹ್ಯಾಟ್ಸ್ ಆಫ್ ಟು ಇಂಡಿಯಾ. ಈಗ ಹೇಳಿ ನಾನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರಲ್ಲಿ ತಪ್ಪೆನಾದರೂ ಇದೆಯ??
