Nice article and the things you mention does really show that you have done a good study for writing this.

However, its silly that you tend to target the film stars who 'rightfully' will do anything to protect the interest of their films because its they themselves and their partners who invest millions to make a movie, and thats not for charity. Like any other business, they would like to make profits of their ventures. If I were a businessman (IPL team owner, movie star/producer, et.al.) I would have done the same and I am sure you would have too in that place.

What's going on in our country is more of a political issue. Do you think even common people like you and me think of common Paki's as threats? Infact, when we go out of the country to say US or any third party countries, you tend to meet people of every other country, religion, race. Do we differentiate then? So blaming people who lack political knowledge is not the way out. Its the political establishment of not just our two countries but all over the world that creates these feelings of hatred and enmity. US may do so to keep their arms sales going while some other country may do so for their own agenda. And sadly so, we common people get to see only the bad part of it and blame the entire country or even a race/religion for it. Ask a Sachin Tendulkar whether he played the Pakistani players thinking he was playing against terrorists or a bunch of Muslims and you would get the answer. No common man in this world would want hatred and wars except for the petty policies adopted by the who's who of global politics.

Also regarding the other point which you make on SRK wearing his religion on his sleeve. What's wrong in it? Do you think by saying Salaam he is derogating people from any other religion? When the constitution itself gives everyone a (peaceful) freedom of speech and religion who are we to decide how should anyone greet anyone? If you and me are proud to be Hindus, SRK has the right to be proud of being a Mulsim and so would be a person believing in Christianity. Its just the simple principle of being a pure secularist. So if you do feel offended by Salaam, keep your pride by replying a 'Namsakaar'. If a Christian you meet in the Western world says 'Jesus Loves You', reciprocate by wishing him 'Bhagwan tumhara bhala kare'.
