Good article Pratap, yes I agree that there are greater number of muslims who beleive or brainwashed to believe that birth control is against Islam.However this trend seems to be decreasing among educated urban Muslims. So, as you rightly said education seems to be the only solution.

You should also have mentioned one more major contributor to our population explosion ( I am surprised how did you miss this one) – obsession about having a male child.Many parents end up having 3 to 4 female children before giving up their try. This obsession pervades all classes and religions of our society.

it was the audition of a reality show.a man,who was the participant,introducing himself said that he is the father of 11 children and the husband of 2 wives……
he was smiling,he was so proud about himself,he’s a Muslim…….
if Gulam Nabi was really serious about the increasing population of India,then he wouldn’t have given such silly suggestion for its control.if he is really concerned about our country’s welfare then let he dare to tell the Muslims who live in small towns or slum areas to adopt population controlling measures…….i don’t know why still people call them as ‘minorities’……..
i agree,it’s not fair to say that only Muslims are responsible for the increasing population,but as i know,no religion says to produce children as many as possible except Islam…….

I surely agree with your point,
i just want to tell that every one should b made aware of this
instead of blaming them….
if this human resource is used properly for the betterment we can reach heights..
by this article atleast literates ll become aware of things..
and if every one make aware of the other person who cant reach here about things, v can actually solve the problem is wat i feel.

Correct agi heliddira….E Muslim jana saako arhate ilde sumne maklanna maadi bidtare… These kids are the biggest threat to social security/economic stability. These are the potential robbers…pick pocketers……terrorists…
Population Control SHOULD start with a MUSLIM family… Only then, we can see the results….
