Is it possible to get the report given by Sri Gopalaswami under RTI act. I am keenly interested to go through that. I was one of the programs in NDTV last week where two well known lawyers turned politicians turned spokesperson for two big parties were debating (Abhishek Sighvi and Arun Jaitley). One is of the opinion that our constitution does not permit the Chief Election commissioner to make such recommendations while the other was quoting supreme court judgement in this regard which has given the authority for him to make such recommendations. Already our political parties are using this issue for their advantage.

The media should have gone ahead and clearly told the right interpretation of our constitution in this regard, than going to the politicians. Isn’t it abvious they will use it to their favor. Also this issue seems to have lost with “Pub baro” ” Pink Chaddi” issues. The very purpose of media is bring out truth. I am sorry to say that the Media has forgotten it long ago….. but it is good to see atleast there are few good journalists doing their job.

ಕೊನೆಯ ಪ್ಯಾರಾವೊ೦ದೇ ಸಾಕು, ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಎತ್ತ ಸಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಯಲು.
ನೀತಿವಂತರಾದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಬಾಳುವುದೇ ಕಷ್ಟವಾಗಬಹುದು ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ?

ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಏನು ಸಾಚ ಅಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಏನೇ ಸಣ್ಣ ತಪ್ಪು ನಡೆದರು ಅದನ್ನು ಬಿ ಜೆ ಪಿ ಮೇಲೆ ಗೂಬೆ ಕೂರಿಸುವುದು ಸ್ವದೇಶದ ವಿದೇಶಿ ಮಾದ್ಯಮಗಳ ಕೆಲಸ. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ‘ಮಾನವಹಕ್ಕು ಹೋರಾಟ ಗಾರರು, ಮಹಿಳಾಮಣಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ದುರ್ಬುದ್ದಿ ಜೀವಿಗಳು.
ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ಸ್ ಎಂಬ ವಿಷ ಬೀಜವನ್ನಂತೂ ಕಿತ್ತೊಗೆಯುವುದು ಸಧ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಅಸಾಧ್ಯ. ಅವರು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ವಿದೇಶೀಯರಿಗೆ ಮಾರಲೆಂದೇ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಹಿಂದೂ ಧರ್ಮ, ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಹರಾಜು ಹಾಕುವುದೇ ಆವರ ಧರ್ಮ. ಆದರೆ ಕಮ್ಯುನಿಷ್ಟರು ತಮ್ಮ ಬೇಳೆ ಬೇಯಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲಿ. ಅವರು ದೊಡ್ಡ ವಿಷ ಜಂತು. ಜೆಡಿಎಸ್ ಬೀದಿಯ ಬೊಗಳು ನಾಯಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚೇನು ಇಲ್ಲ.

ಇಲ್ಲೊಂದು ಕುತೂಹಲಕಾರಿ ಅಂಶ.

ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮಹಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ ೨೦ರ ನಂತರ ಇಟ್ಟು ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು ಏಕೆ? ಗೋಪಾಲ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರು ಅಧಿಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿರುವವರೆಗೂ ಯಾವುದೇ ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಚುನಾವಣ ಆಯೋಗದಿಂದ ‘ಉಪಯೋಗವಿಲ್ಲ’. ಅಷ್ಟೇಕೆ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ಸ್ ಗೆ “ಲಾಭವಿಲ್ಲ”.
ಶ್ರೀ ಗೋಪಾಲ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರು ಇದೆ ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ ೨೦ರ೦ದು ನಿವೃತ್ತರಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಮುಂದಿನ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಚುನಾವಣ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಇದೇ ಚಾವ್ಲ…ಅರ್ಥ ಆಯಿತಲ್ಲ….

ಪೆಟ್ರೋಲಿನ ಬೆಲೆ ಜಗತ್ತಿನಾದ್ಯಂತ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್-ನವೆಂಬರ್ ನಲ್ಲೇ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ, ಒಂದೇ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡ ಬಹುದಾಗಿದ್ದ ಬೆಲೆಯನ್ನು ಎರಡು ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಡಿಮೆಮಾಡಿ ಚುನಾವಣೆಗೆ ‘ಅನುಕೂಲ’ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ‘ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ-ಮತದಾರರು’ ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಥ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಾರು?

ತಮ್ಮ ವೋಟುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಣ, ಹೆಂಡಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಜನಗಳಿರುವವರೆಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದ ರಾಜಕೀಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಏನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನದನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಲಾಗದು.

ಆದರೆ ಇವುಗಳೆಲ್ಲೆದರ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವ ಗೋಪಾಲಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರಂಥ ಕೆಲವು ನಿಷ್ಠ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿರುವುದು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಜನರ ಪುಣ್ಯ. ಅವರಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಸೆಲ್ಯೂಟ್.

Have a look at into newspapers of last once week. What a gr8 news they are publishing!! its always spinning around Pramod mutalik, SRS , BajarangDal and Dr.VS Acharya. Dont they any other news to be published?? Do they think what ever msg they convey is ablosutely right?? I am not saying mutalik/SRS done rt thing. but is this the way a newpaer needs to act??
