]]> By: Venkatesh http://pratapsimha.com/2008/12/16/mumbaiattack/comment-page-1/#comment-1007 Venkatesh Wed, 17 Dec 2008 22:52:59 +0000 http://pratapsimha.com/?p=64#comment-1007 ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್ನರ ಹುಳುಕುಗಳನ್ನ ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಅವರ ಧರ್ಮದ ಉದ್ದಾರ ಹೇಗಾಯಿತು ಎಂದು ವಿವರಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಹಿಂದೂಗಳ ಈಗಿನ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರು ಕೂಡ ಹೇಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನೂ ವಿವರಿಸಿದ ರೀತಿ ತುಂಬಾ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಯಿತು. ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ನೋಯಿಸದೆ ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಹೊಗಳದೆ ತುಂಬಾ ಬ್ಯಾಲೆನ್ಸ್ ಮಾಡಿ ಬರೆದ ಲೇಖನ ಇದು. ಹಾಗೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಫೇಮಸ್ (ವಿಚಿತ್ರ) ಬುದ್ದಿಜೀವಿಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದೂ ಸರಿಯಾಗೇ ಇದೆ. ನಿಜ ಹೇಳಬೇಕೆಂದರೆ ಈ ಬುದ್ದಿಜೀವಿಗಳಿಂದಲೇ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಾಳಾಗುತ್ತಿರೋದು. ಹಿಂದೂ ಗಳು ಈ ಬುದ್ದಿ ಜೀವಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಾಫ್ಟ್ ಟಾರ್ಗೆಟ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರು ಬದಲಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ನಮಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು, ಅದು ಎಷ್ಟು ದಿನ ಹೀಗಿರುತ್ತಾರೋ, ಆ ಅಲ್ಲಾನೇ ಬಲ್ಲ! ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರನ್ನು ಈ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಓಡಿಸಲು ಆಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಕೊನೇಪಕ್ಷ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಸಾಕು. ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನ ಗೆದ್ದರೆ ಶಿವಾಜಿನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಟಾಕಿ ಹೊಡೆಯದಿದ್ದರೆ ಸಾಕು. ನಾವು ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಗಲ್ಲಿ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಕಲ್ಲು ಹೊಡೆಯದಿದ್ದರೆ ಸಾಕು! ಆದರೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಆಗುವುದನ್ನು ನಾವು ನೋಡುತ್ತೇವೆಯೇ? ಅದು ಮುಂದಿನ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ. ನಾವೆಲ್ಲ ಭಾರತ ದೇಶದ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳೆಂದು ಹೆಮ್ಮೆ ಪಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. ತ್ರಿವರ್ಣ ಬಾವುಟ ಹಾರಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ, ಜನಗಣ ಮನ ಹಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ, ವಂದೇ ಮಾತರಂ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಆದರೆ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರು?? ಅರೇಬಿಯಾ, ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನ ವನ್ನು ಹೊಗಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಗೋರಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ, ಮಸೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಶಿವಾಜಿನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ, ಗೌರಿ ಪಾಳ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಜೆಸಿ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ, ಸಿಟಿ ಮಾರ್ಕೆಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ, ಬಿಜಾಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನ ಬಾವುಟ! ಜನಗಣ ಮನ ಎಷ್ಟು ಖುಸಿಯಿಂದ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೋ ಗ್ಯಾರೆಂಟಿ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಒಂದೇ ಮಾತರಂ ಗೆ ವಿರೋಧ. ಇನ್ನು ಗಾಂಧೀಜಿ ಹೇಳಿದ "ಪತೀತ ಪಾವನ ಸೀತಾರಾಮ್" ಯಾವದಾದರೂ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಹೇಳಿಸಿಬಿಡಿ ನೋಡೋಣ? ಆದರೆ ಇದೆಲ್ಲದರ ನಡುವೆ ನನಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಮೊನ್ನೆ ಚಾಮರಾಜ ಪೇಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಸಕ ಜಮೀರ್ ಅಹಮದ್ ಹಣೆಗೆ ತಿಲಕವಿಟ್ಟು ಸ್ವತಹ ಗಣೇಶ ಮೂರ್ತಿಗೆ ಆರತಿ ಎತ್ತಿದ್ದು! ೧೫ರ ಸಂಜೆವಾಣಿ ನೋಡಿ. ಅದೇನೇ ರಾಜಕೀಯವಿರಬಹುದು (ಹೀಗೇ ಮಾಡುವ ನಮ್ಮವರು ಎಷ್ಟು ಸಾಚಾಗಳು?). ಆದರೆ ಮುಲ್ಲಾಗಳ ಫತ್ವಗೆ ಹೆದರದೆ ಇಂಥಹ ಉದಾಹರಣೆ ಗಳು ಸಿಗುತ್ತಾ ಹೋದರೆ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲೇಕೆ ಬೇಧ ಭಾವ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ? ಇಬ್ಬರ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಭಾವನೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಅರ್ಥ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು. ಭಾರತದ ಪ್ರಜೆಯಾಗಿ ನಮಗೆ ಏನು ಬೇಕು? ಯಾವ ಧರ್ಮ, ಜಾತಿ, ಪಂಗಡ, ಪ್ರದೇಶ, ಭಾಷೆಗಳ.... ಬೇಧವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಸಮಾನ ಅವಕಾಶ, ಒಂದೇ ಕಾನೂನು, ಒಂದೇ ರೀತಿಯ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳು ಬೇಕು. ಆದರೆ ಇದು ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ಈಡೆರುತ್ತದೆಯ? ಯಾವ ರಾಜಕಾರಣಿ ಹೀಗೆ ಆಗಲು ಕೊಟ್ಟಾನು? ಯಾವ ಬುದ್ದಿ ಜೀವಿ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಕೊಟ್ಟಾನು? -ವೆಂಕಟೇಶ್ ಟೆಕ್ಸಾಸ್ ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್ನರ ಹುಳುಕುಗಳನ್ನ ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಅವರ ಧರ್ಮದ ಉದ್ದಾರ ಹೇಗಾಯಿತು ಎಂದು ವಿವರಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಹಿಂದೂಗಳ ಈಗಿನ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರು ಕೂಡ ಹೇಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನೂ ವಿವರಿಸಿದ ರೀತಿ ತುಂಬಾ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಯಿತು. ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ನೋಯಿಸದೆ ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಹೊಗಳದೆ ತುಂಬಾ ಬ್ಯಾಲೆನ್ಸ್ ಮಾಡಿ ಬರೆದ ಲೇಖನ ಇದು. ಹಾಗೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಫೇಮಸ್ (ವಿಚಿತ್ರ) ಬುದ್ದಿಜೀವಿಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದೂ ಸರಿಯಾಗೇ ಇದೆ. ನಿಜ ಹೇಳಬೇಕೆಂದರೆ ಈ ಬುದ್ದಿಜೀವಿಗಳಿಂದಲೇ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಾಳಾಗುತ್ತಿರೋದು. ಹಿಂದೂ ಗಳು ಈ ಬುದ್ದಿ ಜೀವಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಾಫ್ಟ್ ಟಾರ್ಗೆಟ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರು ಬದಲಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ನಮಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು, ಅದು ಎಷ್ಟು ದಿನ ಹೀಗಿರುತ್ತಾರೋ, ಆ ಅಲ್ಲಾನೇ ಬಲ್ಲ! ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರನ್ನು ಈ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಓಡಿಸಲು ಆಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಕೊನೇಪಕ್ಷ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಸಾಕು. ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನ ಗೆದ್ದರೆ ಶಿವಾಜಿನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಟಾಕಿ ಹೊಡೆಯದಿದ್ದರೆ ಸಾಕು. ನಾವು ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಗಲ್ಲಿ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಕಲ್ಲು ಹೊಡೆಯದಿದ್ದರೆ ಸಾಕು!

ಆದರೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಆಗುವುದನ್ನು ನಾವು ನೋಡುತ್ತೇವೆಯೇ? ಅದು ಮುಂದಿನ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ.
ನಾವೆಲ್ಲ ಭಾರತ ದೇಶದ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳೆಂದು ಹೆಮ್ಮೆ ಪಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. ತ್ರಿವರ್ಣ ಬಾವುಟ ಹಾರಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ, ಜನಗಣ ಮನ ಹಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ, ವಂದೇ ಮಾತರಂ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತೇವೆ.
ಆದರೆ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರು??
ಅರೇಬಿಯಾ, ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನ ವನ್ನು ಹೊಗಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಗೋರಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ, ಮಸೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಶಿವಾಜಿನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ, ಗೌರಿ ಪಾಳ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಜೆಸಿ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ, ಸಿಟಿ ಮಾರ್ಕೆಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ, ಬಿಜಾಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನ ಬಾವುಟ!
ಜನಗಣ ಮನ ಎಷ್ಟು ಖುಸಿಯಿಂದ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೋ ಗ್ಯಾರೆಂಟಿ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಒಂದೇ ಮಾತರಂ ಗೆ ವಿರೋಧ. ಇನ್ನು ಗಾಂಧೀಜಿ ಹೇಳಿದ “ಪತೀತ ಪಾವನ ಸೀತಾರಾಮ್” ಯಾವದಾದರೂ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಹೇಳಿಸಿಬಿಡಿ ನೋಡೋಣ?

ಆದರೆ ಇದೆಲ್ಲದರ ನಡುವೆ ನನಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಮೊನ್ನೆ ಚಾಮರಾಜ ಪೇಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಸಕ ಜಮೀರ್ ಅಹಮದ್ ಹಣೆಗೆ ತಿಲಕವಿಟ್ಟು ಸ್ವತಹ ಗಣೇಶ ಮೂರ್ತಿಗೆ ಆರತಿ ಎತ್ತಿದ್ದು! ೧೫ರ ಸಂಜೆವಾಣಿ ನೋಡಿ. ಅದೇನೇ ರಾಜಕೀಯವಿರಬಹುದು (ಹೀಗೇ ಮಾಡುವ ನಮ್ಮವರು ಎಷ್ಟು ಸಾಚಾಗಳು?). ಆದರೆ ಮುಲ್ಲಾಗಳ ಫತ್ವಗೆ ಹೆದರದೆ ಇಂಥಹ ಉದಾಹರಣೆ ಗಳು ಸಿಗುತ್ತಾ ಹೋದರೆ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲೇಕೆ ಬೇಧ ಭಾವ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ? ಇಬ್ಬರ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಭಾವನೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಅರ್ಥ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು.

ಭಾರತದ ಪ್ರಜೆಯಾಗಿ ನಮಗೆ ಏನು ಬೇಕು?
