ಸಂಕಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾರಣ ಶನೇಶ್ವರನಲ್ಲ, ಸೋನಿಯಾ!

ಹಾಗಂತ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದು ಇಸ್ರೇಲ್‌ನ ಮಾಜಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ದಿವಂಗತ ಗೋಲ್ಡಾ ಮೈಯರ್. ಮಾರ್ಗರೆಟ್ ಥ್ಯಾಚರ್‌ಗಿಂತ ಮೊದಲು “Iron Lady” ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದುದು ಗೋಲ್ಡಾ ಮೈಯರ್ ಅವರನ್ನೇ. ಇಸ್ರೇಲ್‌ನ ಮೊದಲ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಬೆನ್ ಗುರಿಯನ್ ಅವರಂತೂ “The only man in the Cabinet” ಎಂದು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ವರ್ಣಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

ಇಂತಹ ಗೋಲ್ಡಾ ಮೈಯರ್ 1969ರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರೇಲ್‌ನ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿಯಾದಾಗ ಆಕೆಗೆ ೭೦ ವರ್ಷ ವಯಸ್ಸಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೇನಂತೆ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊರುವ ತಾಕತ್ತು ಆಕೆಯ ಹೆಗಲುಗಳಿಗಿತ್ತು.

ಇತ್ತ ೧೯೭೨ರಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಮ್ಯೂನಿಚ್ ಒಲಿಂಪಿಕ್ಸ್’ ಆರಂಭವಾಯಿತು.

ಮ್ಯೂನಿಚ್ ಇರುವುದು ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಜರ್ಮನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ. ಯಹೂದಿ ಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಂದವರ, ದೇಶಬಿಟ್ಟು ಓಡಿಸಿದವರ ದೇಶವಾದ ಜರ್ಮನಿಗೆ 11 ಜನರ ಒಲಿಂಪಿಕ್ ತಂಡವನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟ ಇಸ್ರೇಲ್, ಕಗ್ಗೊಲೆಗಳಿಗೆ ತಾನು ಜಗ್ಗಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನೇನೋ ಮುಟ್ಟಿಸಿತು. ಆದರೆ ಇಸ್ರೇಲಿನ ಒಲಿಂಪಿಕ್ ತಂಡ ಜರ್ಮನಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿಳಿದ ಬೆನ್ನಲ್ಲೇ ಜಗತ್ತನ್ನೇ ತಲ್ಲಣಗೊಳಿಸುವಂತಹ ಅಪಹ ರಣ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಹನ್ನೊಂದೂ ಜನರನ್ನು ಅಪಹರಿಸಿದ “ಬ್ಲ್ಯಾಕ್ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್” ಎಂಬ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕ ಸಂಘಟನೆ ಒತ್ತೆಯಾಳಾಗಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿತು. ಈ ‘ಬ್ಲ್ಯಾಕ್ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್’ ಪ್ಯಾಲೆಸ್ತೀನ್ ನಾಯಕ ಯಾಸೆರ್ ಅರಾಫತ್ ಅವರ ‘ಫತ್ಹಾ’ ಎಂಬ ಕಟ್ಟರ್ ಪಂಥೀಯ ಸಂಘಟನೆಯ ಒಂದು ಅಂಗವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಮಧ್ಯೆ, ಜರ್ಮನ್ ಪಡೆಗಳು ಏರ್‌ಪೋರ್ಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಒತ್ತೆಯಾಳಾಗಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಕಟ್ಟಡವನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತುವರಿದವು. ಆದರೂ ಯಾವ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವೂ ಆಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಕೊಲ್ಲುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದೊಂದಿಗೇ ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ಪ್ಯಾಲೆಸ್ತೀನ್ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕರು ಜರ್ಮನ್ ಪಡೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡಕೂಡಲೇ ೧೧ ಇಸ್ರೇಲಿ ಅಥ್ಲೀಟ್‌ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹತ್ಯೆಗೈದರು. ಪ್ರತಿದಾಳಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಜರ್ಮನ್ ಪಡೆಗಳು ಐವರು ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಮೂವರನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಿದವು. ಆದರೆ ಈ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದ ಕೆಲವೇ ತಿಂಗಳುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಮಾನ ಅಪಹರಣ ಮಾಡಿದ‘ಬ್ಲ್ಯಾಕ್ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್’ ಸಂಘಟನೆಯ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕರು ಮೂವರು ಬಂಧಿತ ಉಗ್ರರನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಬೇಡಿಕೆ ಮುಂದಿಟ್ಟರು. ಒಂದಿಷ್ಟೂ ಚೌಕಾಶಿಯನ್ನೇ ನಡೆಸದೆ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗೆ ಮಣಿದು ಉಗ್ರರನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಜರ್ಮನಿ, ಒತ್ತೆ ನಾಟಕಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ವತಃ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿತ್ತೇನೋ ಎಂಬ ಬಲವಾದ ಗುಮಾನಿ ಹರಡಲು ದಾರಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿತು.

ಈ ಘಟನೆ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದ ವಯೋವೃದ್ಧೆ ಗೋಲ್ಡಾ ಮೈಯರ್  ಅವರ ರಕ್ತ ಕುದಿಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿತು.

ಕೂಡಲೇ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಸಚಿವ ಮೋಶೆ ಡಯಾನ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೆಲವು ಸರಕಾರಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಸಮಿತಿಯೊಂದನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಿದ ಅವರು, ಇಸ್ರೇಲ್‌ನ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರ ಏನಾಗಿರಬೇಕೆಂಬುದರ ರೂಪುರೇಷೆಯನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸುವಂತೆ ಆದೇಶ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಸಮಿತಿಗೆ ತಾವೇ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದರು. ಅಂದು ಮೋಶೆ ಡಯಾನ್, ಜನರಲ್ ಆಹರಾನ್ ಯಾರೀವ್ ಮತ್ತು ‘ಮೊಸಾದ್’ನ (ಇಸ್ರೇಲ್‌ನ ಗುಪ್ತಚರ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ) ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ಝ್ವಿ ಝಮೀರ್ ರೂಪಿಸಿದ ತಂತ್ರವೇ ‘ಪ್ರತಿ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದನೆ’ ಅಥವಾ Counter-Terrorism! ಅದು ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷವಾಗಿರಬಹುದು ಅಥವಾ ಪರೋಕ್ಷವಾಗಿರಬಹುದು. ಇಸ್ರೇಲ್ ಒಲಿಂಪಿಕ್ ತಂಡದ ಹತ್ಯೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣರಾಗಿದ್ದವರನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇದ್ದರೂ ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚಿ ಕೊಲ್ಲುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ಅದಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅಂತಹ ಯೋಜನೆಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಗೆ ನೀಡಲು ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಗೋಲ್ಡಾ ಮೈಯರ್ ಹಿಂಜರಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಹಾಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಗೆ ದೊರೆತ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಅರಾಫತ್ ಅವರ ಪ್ಯಾಲೆಸ್ತೀನ್ ಲಿಬರೇಶನ್ ಆರ್ಗ ನೈಜೇಶನ್(ಪಿಎಲ್‌ಓ)ನಲ್ಲೇ ಇದ್ದ ಮೊಸಾದ್‌ನ ‘ಡಬಲ್ ಏಜೆಂಟ್’ವೊಬ್ಬರ ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದ  ಇಸ್ರೇಲ್ ಒಲಿಂಪಿಕ್ ತಂಡದ ಹತ್ಯೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣರಾಗಿದ್ದವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಚು ರೂಪಿಸಿದ್ದವರೆಲ್ಲರ ಪಟ್ಟಿ ತಯಾರಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಯಾವ ಯಾವ ಸ್ಥಳ, ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನೂ ಪತ್ತೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಇತ್ತ ಪ್ರಾಣ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಸಿದ್ಧರಿರುವವರ ತಂಡವನ್ನೂ ಅಣಿಗೊಳಿಸಿದರು. ಆ ತಂಡ ಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಇಂತಿಂಥವರಿಗೆ ಇಂತಿಂಥ ಕೆಲಸ ಎಂದು ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ನೀಡಲಾ ಯಿತು. ಒಂದಿಬ್ಬರು ದಾರಿ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಾ ಕುಳಿತು, ಬಲಿಪ್ರಾಣಿ ಬಂದ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ರವಾನೆ ಮಾಡುವುದು, ಇನ್ನೊಂದಿಬ್ಬರು ಬಲಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮುಗಿಬಿದ್ದ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಉಳಿದವರು ಹೊರಗಿನಿಂದ ಪೊಲೀಸರತ್ತ ಗುಂಡುಹಾರಿಸಿ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ನೀಡುವುದು. ಈ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಇನ್ನೊಂದಿಷ್ಟು ಮಂದಿ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಪಾರಾಗಲು ದಾರಿ ಯನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸುವುದು. ಇಂತಹ ಉದ್ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತ ತಂಡವನ್ನು ಏಷ್ಯಾ, ಯುರೋಪ್‌ಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಒಂದೇ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಸಾಧಿಸಲು ಒಂದಲ್ಲ ಮೂರು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ತಂಡಗಳನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆ ತಂಡಗಳಿಗೆ ತಮಗೆ ವಹಿಸಲಾಗಿರುವ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲು ಇನ್ನೂ ಎರಡೂ ಎರಡು ತಂಡಗಳು ಹೋಗಿವೆ ಎಂಬ ಸಂಗತಿಯೇ ಗೊತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಸ್ರೇಲ್ ತನ್ನ ಕೆಲಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ಲೋಪವೂ ಆಗದಷ್ಟು ಮುಂಜಾಗ್ರತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ಲಾನ್-ಬಿ, ಸಿ ಅನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿತ್ತು.

ಅದರ ಹೆಸರೇ Operation Wrath of God.

ಪ್ಯಾಲೆಸ್ತೀನ್‌ನ ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ ಝವೈತರ್ ಎಂಬಾತ 1976, ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 16ರಂದು ಇಟಲಿಯ ರೋಮ್‌ನ ಅಪಾರ್ಟ್ ಮೆಂಟ್‌ವೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ  ಕೊಲೆಯಾಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದ. ಆತ ಪಿಎಲ್‌ಓದ ಇಟಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ. ಹೀಗೆ ಮೊದಲ ಬಲಿತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡ ‘ಮೊಸಾದ್’ನ ಕಮಾಂಡೋಗಳು, ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಪರಾರಿಯಾದರು. ಅವರ ಮುಂದಿನ ಗುರಿ ಪಿಎಲ್‌ಓದ ಫ್ರಾನ್ಸ್ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿ ಡಾ. ಮೊಹಮದ್ ಹಮ್ಸಾರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ. ಆತನೂ ಹೆಣವಾದ. ನಾರ್ವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮಾಯಕ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಾಗಿ ಕೊಂದಾಗ ಇಸ್ರೇಲ್‌ನ ಗುಪ್ತ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ಬೆಳಕಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿರೋಧ, ಟೀಕೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಯಿತು. ಆದರೂ ಇಸ್ರೇಲ್ ಜಗ್ಗಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಕೈಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಏಷ್ಯಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಯುರೋಪ್‌ನ ವಿವಿಧ  ಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು ೨೫ ಜನರನ್ನು ಹೆಕ್ಕಿ ಕೊಲೆಗೈದು ಸೇಡು ತೀರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿತು. ಇಂತಹ ಒಂದು ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಗೋಲ್ಡಾ ಮೈಯರ್  ೧೯೭೮ರಲ್ಲಿ ತೀರಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಆದರೆ ಇತಿಹಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಶ್ವತ ಸ್ಥಾನಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡರು. ಇಳಿ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಉಕ್ಕಿನ ಮಹಿಳೆ’ ಎಂಬ ಖ್ಯಾತಿ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡರು.

ಆದರೆ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಗೋಲ್ಡಾ ಮೈಯರ್  ಅವರಂತಹವರು ಯಾರಿದ್ದಾರೆ? ಒಲಿಂಪಿಕ್ ತಂಡವನ್ನೇ ಹತ್ಯೆಗೈದಂತಹ ಸಂದಿಗ್ಧ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಣೆ ಹೊತ್ತು, ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಹೆಗಲ ಮೇಲೆಳೆದುಕೊಂಡು ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಮುನ್ನಡೆಸುವ ತಾಕತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದ ಯಾವ ರಾಜಕಾರಣಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿದೆ? ಮೊನ್ನೆ ನಡೆದಿದ್ದೇನು? ನವೆಂಬರ್ 26ರ ಮುಂಬೈ ದಾಳಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣ ಯಾರು? ಇಸ್ರೇಲಿಯರು ದೋಷಿಗಳಾದ ಪ್ಯಾಲೆಸ್ತೀನಿಯರನ್ನು ಹೆಕ್ಕಿ ಕೊಂದರೆ ನಾವು ಯಾರನ್ನು ಬಲಿತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ? ಗೃಹ ಸಚಿವ ಶಿವರಾಜ್ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ರಾಜೀನಾಮೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು, ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಉಪಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಆರ್.ಆರ್. ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಅವರ ರಾಜೀನಾಮೆ ಕೊಡಿಸಿದರು, ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ವಿಲಾಸ್ ರಾವ್ ದೇಶ್‌ಮುಖ್ ರಾಜೀನಾಮೆ ಕೊಡುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಮನಮೋಹನ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ರಾಜೀನಾಮೆ ಕೊಡಲು ಮುಂದಾಗಿದ್ದರು ಎಂಬ ನಾಟಕ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದರು. ಆದರೆ ನೈತಿಕ ಹೊಣೆಹೊತ್ತು ರಾಜೀನಾಮೆ ಕೊಡಬೇಕಾಗಿದ್ದಿದ್ದು ಯಾರು? ಅಂದು, ಒಂದು ರೈಲು ದುರಂತ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಲಾಲ್ ಬಹಾದೂರ್ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಯವರು ಹೊಣೆಹೊತ್ತು ರಾಜೀನಾಮೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು. ಹಳಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಸಿಗ್ನಲ್ ಕೊಡಬೇಕಾದ ಲೈನ್ ಮ್ಯಾನ್ ಮಾಡಿದ ತಪ್ಪಿಗೆ ಅವರೇಕೆ ರಾಜೀನಾಮೆ ಕೊಡಬೇಕಿತ್ತು ಅಲ್ಲವೆ? ಲೈನ್‌ಮ್ಯಾನ್‌ನನ್ನು ಕೆಲಸದಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಬಹುದಿತ್ತು ಇಲ್ಲವೆ, ಆತನೇ ರಾಜೀನಾಮೆ ಕೊಡುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಬಹುದಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ರಾಜೀನಾಮೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಮಾತ್ರ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಸಚಿವ ಲಾಲ್ ಬಹಾದೂರ್ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿ. ಅಪಾರ ನೈತಿಕತೆ ಇದ್ದವರು ಮಾತ್ರ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ.

ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ಆಗುತ್ತಿರುವುದೇನು?

ಸಣ್ಣ ಸಣ್ಣ ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಲಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ತೋಳ ಅಡ್ಡಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ! ಆ ತೋಳ ಮತ್ತಾರೂ ಅಲ್ಲ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಯುಪಿಎ ಚೇರ್‌ಮನ್ ಸೋನಿಯಾ ಗಾಂಧಿ. ಅಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೂ ಶಿವರಾಜ್ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಗೃಹ ಸಚಿವರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, ವಿಲಾಸ್‌ರಾವ್ ದೇಶ್‌ಮುಖ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿ ನೇಮಕ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಯಾರು? ಸೋನಿಯಾ ಗಾಂಧಿಯವರೇ ಅಲ್ಲವೆ? ಒಬ್ಬ ಕಳಪೆ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಆಟಗಾರರನ್ನು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ, ಆತ ಕೆಟ್ಟದಾಗಿ ಆಡಿದರೆ ಬೈಯ್ಯುವುದು ಆಯ್ಕೆದಾರರನ್ನೇ ಅಲ್ಲವೆ? ಹಾಗಿರುವಾಗ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಯುಪಿಎಯ ಏಕೈಕ ಆಯ್ಕೆದಾರರಾದ ಸೋನಿಯಾ ಅವರನ್ನೇಕೆ ಯಾರೂ ದೂರುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ? ಈ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಆಳುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಮನಮೋಹನ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಅವರೋ ಅಥವಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮುಂದಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಸೋನಿಯಾ ಅವರೋ? ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಕಡ್ಡಿ ಅಲುಗಾಡಬೇಕಾದರೂ ಸೋನಿಯಾ ಅನುಮತಿ ಬೇಕು. ಮಂತ್ರಿಮಂಡಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ಖಾತೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕು, ಯಾವ ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾರು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಯಾಗಬೇಕು, ಯಾರು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ವೀಕ್ಷಕರಾಗಬೇಕು, ಯಾರಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಉಸ್ತು ವಾರಿ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸುವುದು ಆಕೆಯೇ ಅಲ್ಲವೆ? ಎಲ್ಲದಕ್ಕೂ ವಿರೋಧಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಕಮ್ಯುನಿಸ್ಟರನ್ನು “Power without responsibility” ಎಂದು ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳು ಟೀಕಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು. ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಸೋನಿಯಾ ಅನುಭವಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದೇನು?  ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನೇ ಅಲ್ಲವೆ?

‘ಇಂಡಿಯನ್ ಎಕ್ಸ್‌ಪ್ರೆಸ್’ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯ ಖ್ಯಾತ ಅಂಕಣಕಾರ ಎಸ್. ಗುರುಮೂರ್ತಿ ಅವರು ಕಳೆದ ವರ್ಷ “She can only win, never lose!” ಎಂಬ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಲೇಖನ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದರು. ಅಂದರೆ ಗೆಲುವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸೋನಿಯಾ ಗಾಂಧಿಯವರದ್ದು, ಸೋಲು ಮಾತ್ರ ಆಕೆಯದಲ್ಲ. ಯಾವುದಾದರೊಂದು ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಗೆದ್ದರೆ, ‘ಗೆಲುವಿಗೆ ಸೋನಿಯಾ ಗಾಂಧಿಯವರೇ ಕಾರಣ’ ಎಂದು ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಮರಿ ಕಾಂಗೆಸಿಗನಿಂದ ಹಿಡಿದು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ನಾಯಕರವರೆಗೂ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಕ್ಕೊರಲಿನಿಂದ ಗೆಲುವನ್ನು ‘ಮೇಡಂ’ಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿ ಬಿಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. Victory has thousand fathers, but defeat is an orphan ಅಂತ ಕ್ಯೂಬಾ ಬಿಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನ ವೇಳೆ ಅಮೆರಿಕದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಜಾನ್ ಕೆನಡಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಲಿಗೆ ನೂರಾರು ಅಪ್ಪಂದಿರಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಇಲ್ಲವೇ ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಗೆಲುವಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪ, ಅಮ್ಮ, ಮಹಾತಾಯಿ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಸೋನಿಯಾ ಅವರೇ.  ನಾಡಿದ್ದು ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ ೮ರಂದು ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗಲಿರುವ  ಮಧ್ಯಪ್ರದೇಶ, ರಾಜಸ್ಥಾನ, ಛತ್ತೀಸ್‌ಗಢ, ದಿಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆಯ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ಒಂದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಗೆದ್ದರೂ ಸಾಕು, ಮುಂಬೈ ಸ್ಫೋಟಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಸೋನಿಯಾ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸುದ್ದಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಸೋತರೆ…? ಅಶೋಕ್ ಗೆಹ್ಲೋಟ್, ಅಜಿತ್ ಜೋಗಿ, ಶೀಲಾ ದೀಕ್ಷಿತ್ ತಲೆಕೊಡಲು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಸಿದ್ಧರಾಗಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

But the buck stops at Sonia.

ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ, ಆಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ನೈತಿಕತೆ ಎಂಬುದಾದರೂ ಇದ್ದಿದ್ದರೆ ಮುಂಬೈ ಆಕ್ರಮಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಣೆಹೊತ್ತು ಆಳುವ ಯುಪಿಎ ಚೇರಮನ್ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ರಾಜೀನಾಮೆ ನೀಡಿರುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು, ಇಲ್ಲವೇ ದೇಶವಾಸಿಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಕ್ಷಮೆಯನ್ನಾದರೂ ಯಾಚಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಇವತ್ತು ಎಂತಹ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿದೆಯೆಂದರೆ ಆಕೆಯಿಂದ ನೈತಿಕತೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಮಾಡುವುದೇ ದೊಡ್ಡ ತಪ್ಪಾಗಿದೆ. ಅಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೂ, ಹತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರ ಜತೆ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಕಚೇರಿಗೆ ನುಗ್ಗಿ ಹಾಲಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಸೀತಾರಾಮ್ ಕೇಸರಿಯವರನ್ನು ಟಾಯ್ಲೆಟ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿಹಾಕಿ ಕುರ್ಚಿ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡು ತಾನೇ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ಎಂದು ಘೋಷಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಾಗಲೇ, 1998ರಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಜಪೇಯಿ ಸರಕಾರ ಒಂದು ವೋಟಿನಿಂದ ಪತನ ಗೊಂಡಾಗ ಸಂಸತ್ ಮುಂದೆ, “I have 272 numbers” ಎಂದು ಬಡಾಯಿಕೊಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲೇ ಆಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಷ್ಟು ನೈತಿಕತೆಯಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಸಾಬೀತಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಇಷ್ಟಾಗಿಯೂ 2004, ಮೇನಲ್ಲಿ ಸರಕಾರ ರಚಿಸಲು ತನಗೆ ಆಹ್ವಾನ ಕೊಡಿ ಎಂದು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಹೊರಬಂದ ನಂತರ ‘ತ್ಯಾಗ’ದ ಮಾತ ನಾಡಿದ್ದರು. ಅಂದು ನಮ್ಮ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ‘ಮದರ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ’ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯುವುದೊಂದು ಬಾಕಿಯಾಗಿತ್ತು!

‘ಅನಿಷ್ಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆಲ್ಲಾ ಶನೇಶ್ವರನೇ ಕಾರಣ’ ಎಂಬ ಮಾತಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಭಾರತದ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದನೆಯೆಂಬ ಶನೇಶ್ವರನಲ್ಲ, ಸೋನಿಯಾ.

ಮುಂಬೈಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರಿಯಾಂಕ ಗಾಂಧಿ ವಾದ್ರಾ, “ಅಜ್ಜಿ ಇಂದಿರಾಗಾಂಧಿ ಇದ್ದಿದ್ದರೆ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಪಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳು ವಂತಹ ಕ್ರಮ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು” ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ! ಅಂದರೆ ಅಮ್ಮನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏನೂ ಆಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಅಮ್ಮ ಅಸಮರ್ಥಳು ಎಂದಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲವೆ? ಇಷ್ಟಾಗಿಯೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳು ಶಿವರಾಜ್ ಪಾಟೀಲ್, ವಿಲಾಸ್‌ರಾವ್ ದೇಶಮುಖ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಲಿಪಶು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಆದರೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಗೃಹ ಸಚಿವ ಹಾಗೂ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂರಿಸಿದ ಸೋನಿಯಾ ಅವರೇ ವೈಫಲ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಮೂಲ ಕಾರಣವಲ್ಲವೆ? ಆದರೂ ಯಾರೂ ಏಕೆ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಟೀಕೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ? ‘ಟೆರರಿಸಂ’ನಲ್ಲೂ ‘ಸೆಕ್ಯುಲರಿಸಂ’ ಅನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವ ಬರ್ಖಾ ದತ್, ರಾಜ್‌ದೀಪ್ ಸರ್ದೇಸಾಯಿಗಳು ಜಾತ್ಯತೀತವಾದದ ಅಧಿದೇವತೆಯನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆತಾನೇ ಟೀಕಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ? ಅಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೂ ಸೋನಿಯಾ ಗಾಂಧಿಯವರು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಪದ್ಮಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಯ ಋಣವನ್ನು ಮರೆಯುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆಯೇ!? ಆ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ, ಆಳುವ ಪಕ್ಷ ಮತ್ತು ಅದರ ಲಂಗುಲಗಾಮು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಸೋನಿಯಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ಪಾರುಮಾಡುವ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಜಕಾರಣಿಗಳೂ ಒಂದೇ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ‘Generalise’ ಮಾಡಿ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಮೇಲೂ ಗೂಬೆ ಕೂರಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಮಧ್ಯೆ, ಮುಂಬೈ ಆಕ್ರಮಣದ ಬೆನ್ನಲ್ಲೇ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿ ಹುತಾತ್ಮ ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಗೆ 1 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ನೀಡುವುದಾಗಿ ಘೋಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಮಂಗನಾದ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿಯವರ ಟೀಕಾ ಪ್ರಹಾರ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಕಳೆದ ನಾಲ್ಕು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಸೋನಿಯಾ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿರುವುದೇನು? ಜೈಪುರ, ಅಹಮದಾಬಾದ್, ಮಾಲೆಗಾಂವ್ ಅಥವಾ ಯಾವುದೇ ಬಾಂಬ್ ಸ್ಫೋಟಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿ. ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಮನಮೋಹನ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಜತೆ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸೋನಿಯಾ ಗಾಂಧಿಯವರು ಬರುವಾಗಲೇ ಚೆಕ್ ತಂದಿರುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಗಾಯ ಗೊಂಡವರಿಗೆ 50 ಸಾವಿರ, ಸತ್ತವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ 2 ಲಕ್ಷದಂತೆ ಅದೆಷ್ಟು ಬಾರಿ ಚೆಕ್ ವಿತರಿಸಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ? ಮಾಲೆಗಾಂವ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರು ಸೋನಿಯಾ ನೀಡಲು ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ಚೆಕ್ಕನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಆಗ ಸೋನಿಯಾ ಅವರನ್ನೇಕೆ ಟೀಕಿಸಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ? ಹೇಮಂತ್ ಕರ್ಕರೆ ಅವರ ಹೆಂಡತಿ ಮೋದಿ ನೀಡಲು ಮುಂದಾಗಿದ್ದ ಹಣವನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದ್ದು ಏಕೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ವಿಷಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ? ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಉನ್ನತ ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಿದ್ದ ಕರ್ಕರೆ ಅವರ ಹೆಂಡತಿಗೆ ೧ ಕೋಟಿ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗದೇ ಇರಬಹುದು. ಆದರೆ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕರನ್ನು ಅಡ್ಡಗಟ್ಟಲು ಹೋಗಿ ಪ್ರಾಣ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ೧೬ ಜನ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಪೇದೆಗಳ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ೧ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ.ನಿಂದ ಖಂಡಿತ ಸಹಾಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಅದೇಕೆ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳ ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಕಾಣುವುದಿಲ್ಲ?

ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದನೆಗೆ ಧರ್ಮವಿಲ್ಲ, ಬಣ್ಣವಿಲ್ಲ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಹಾಗೆನ್ನುವ ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತರು ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಜಕಾರಣಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಖಂಡಿತ ಧರ್ಮ, ಬಣ್ಣ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಇವೆ.

ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕರು ಬಡಬಗ್ಗರೇ ತುಂಬಿರುವ ಕೆ.ಆರ್. ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಯಂತಹ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾಂಬ್ ಹಾಕಿ, ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಜನರಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿರುವ ಬಸ್ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಕ್ರಮಣ ಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದ್ದರೆ ಸೋನಿಯಾ ಗಾಂಧಿಯವರು ಖಂಡಿತ ಚೆಕ್ಕು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಮೊನ್ನೆ ಮಡಿದವರು ತಾಜ್, ಒಬೆರಾಯ್‌ನಂಥ ಪಂಚತಾರಾ ಹೋಟೆಲ್‌ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿಯುವ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮಂದಿ. ಒಂದು ರಾತ್ರಿ ಕಳೆಯಲು, ಒಂದಿಷ್ಟು ಗಂಟೆ ಕುಳಿತು ತಿಂದು, ಹರಟೆ ಹೊಡೆದು ಹೋಗಲು ಸಾವಿರಾರು ರೂ ಖರ್ಚು ಮಾಡುವ ಅವರಿಗೆ, ‘ಟಿಪ್ಸ್’ಗೆ ಸಮನಾದ ೫೦ ಸಾವಿರ, ೨ ಲಕ್ಷ ಚೆಕ್ ಕೊಡಲು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಸೋನಿಯಾ ಕಥೆ ಏನಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು? ಅದನ್ನರಿತೇ ಸದ್ದಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಬಂದು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಷ್ಟು ಪರಿeನ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳಿಗಿಲ್ಲವೆ?

ಇಂತಹ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳು, ರಾಜಕಾರಣಿಗಳೇ ತುಂಬಿಕೊಂಡಿರು ವಾಗ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಮಾಜ ಗೋಲ್ಡಾ ಮೈಯರ್  ಅಂತಹ ನಾಯಕ ರನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವೆ?

ಅದಿರಲಿ ಮಾನವ ಹಕ್ಕು ಉಲ್ಲಂಘನೆ ಎಂದು ಸದಾ ಬೊಬ್ಬೆ ಹಾಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದ, ಪೊಲೀಸರನ್ನು ದೂರುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ತೀಸ್ತಾ ಸೆತಲ್ವಾಡ್, ಅರುಂ ಧತಿ ರಾಯ್, ಶಾಂತಿ ಭೂಷಣ್, ಅಮರ್ ಸಿಂಗ್, ನಫೀಸಾ ಅಲಿ, ಜಾವೇದ್ ಅಖ್ತರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಟ್ಟದ ನಮ್ಮ ಲೋಕಲ್ ಬುದ್ಧಿಜೀವಿ ‘ಮೂರ್ತಿ’ಎಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ? ಮುಂಬೈ ಆಕ್ರಮಣದಲ್ಲಿ 42 ಮುಸಲ್ಮಾನರೂ ಪ್ರಾಣ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈಗೇಕೆ ಮಾನವ ಹಕ್ಕು ಉಲ್ಲಂಘನೆಯ ಆರೋಪ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ? Terrorism is a common enemy ಎಂಬುದು ಇಂದು ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರಿಗೂ ಅರಿವಾಗಿದೆ, ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನಿಯರಿಗೂ ಅವರದ್ದೇ ಔಷಧದ ರುಚಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದೆ. ಸಾವಿನ ಮುಂದೆ ಎಲ್ಲ ಸಮಾನರು!

ಅಂದು ಇಸ್ರೇಲಿ ಒಲಿಂಪಿಕ್ ತಂಡವನ್ನು ಹತ್ಯೆಗೈದು ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ೩ ಪ್ಯಾಲೆಸ್ತೀನಿ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕರನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಕೊಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂದು ಗೋಲ್ಡಾ ಮೈಯರ್ ಆದೇಶ ನೀಡಬಹು ದಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಆ ದುರಂತಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಹಾಗೂ ಪರೋಕ್ಷವಾಗಿ ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದವರ ನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ಕೊಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂದು ಸೂಚಿಸಿದರು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕರನ್ನು ಮಟ್ಟಹಾಕುವುದು ಎಷ್ಟು ಮುಖ್ಯವೋ, ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದನೆಗೆ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹ ನೀಡುವ ತಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆಯಬೇಕಾದುದು ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಖ್ಯ. ಕರಾಚಿಯಿಂದ ಆಗಮಿಸಿ ಅನಾಹುತ ಮಾಡಿದ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕ ರನ್ನು ಮಟ್ಟಹಾಕಿದ್ದೇನೋ ಸರಿ. ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಏಕಾಏಕಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಆಕ್ರಮಣ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಪೂರ್ವತಯಾರಿ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದರು. ಹಾಗೆ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆ ನಡೆಸಲು ಕೆಲವು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರು ಖಂಡಿತ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿರಲೇಬೇಕು.  ಈಗಲಾದರೂ “A nation can survive its fools and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within” ಎಂದಿದ್ದ ರೋಮ್‌ನ ಮಾರ್ಕಸ್ ಟುಲಿಯಸ್ ಸಿಸೇರೋ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ.

ಆಗ ಮಾತ್ರ ಈ ದೇಶ ಉಳಿಯಲು, ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ.

    A very well written column indeed. You’ve have hit the nail right on its head!

    Politicians should stop resigning like cowards following a major national crisis. Who are these SOB politicians kidding? When people look up for leadership after a crisis these politicians take the golden parachute of the resignation drama to land safely in their homes leaving the ordinary citizens of the country to fend for themselves. By doing so the person who has resigned has washed the hands off of crisis and incoming person can easily wash his/her hands too by claiming that the crisis did not happen on his watch. This is like adding insult to injury. Why can’t they be a man for once in their life and deal with the crisis head on? Come on you clown fake leaders give us all a break!

    Regarding Sonia Gandhi it could’ve been clever and cunning move on her part to step aside and refuse the highest political office in the land and put her hand puppet instead in the office of the Prime Minister of India so the she can rule without being held accountable and face the consequences and failures. My God what has happened to the once mighty nation that nobody could conquer and rule forever.

    The first time i heard about the terror attack in Mumbai, the first thing came to my mind was Munich massacre. I even thought about the GIGN’s operation Mosque seizure in Mecca. The 1972 event started many branches in Counter Terrorism across many countries however only in India there is such a low reaction about the attacks. We, the civilians are hot but we are shocked about the cold reactions from our corrupt politicians. First, let god avenge them.

    I totally agree with you, the only viable option with India is constant covert operations taking out ISI and LeT leaders involved in terror activities. There are huge international ramifications for any other kind of operations, also there is no winner in the past few wars and there is huge cost in terms of money and human life. But I have to disagree with you in asking Sonia’s resignation, when an employee is found wanting in his job he/she is sacked or asked for resignation, not that the manager is sacked. If the manager is constantly choosing wrong candidates then the manager can be sacked. As you have said ‘Shaneswara is not responsible for all our sorrows’, you can’t blame Sonia for all the problems.

    The poll results clearly shows that people are aware what is happening around them. BJP thought they can defeat Cong by protraying them as weak and cannot take revenge for the terror attacks. But who ever was in power they can only do a little in terms of taking revenge, remember it was BJP who was in power when Loka Sabha was attacked and they didn’t do anything. But, certainly the onus of National Security lies with Central Govt and they should be held responsible for it. The voters have voted for the party which they believe can handle the economic issues. Coming Loka Sabha Cong will certainly be a front runner on this issue as well as Foriegn Affairs. Bjp should stop politising terror issue and get the back off Sonia. In BJP, RSS and VHP they are possessed with degrading Sonia and her family which is not in good taste and will certainly will lose some valuable votes. They should concentrate on matching Cong on economic issues and clean up their image as people shouting empty solgans to mature politicians. In democracy you can only fool some people for some time. Come on grow up BJP and RSS.

    I am big admirer of yours and have been following bettale jagattu from a long time. Wll I wanted to write to you from a long time .. but let me share my comments about you as a fan in a seperate email,

    Coming back to the present topic. After reading your articla last saturday I spent more than 28 hours reading about Golda Maier and ended up reading about creation of Isreal , operation Wrath of God, Munich massacre, Operation Spring of Youth,Mossad and went on till watching the Movie Munich.
    The very purpose of Wrath of God was not only to kill the people involved / supported the Munich Massacre …but kill them sending shivers among terrorists (like most of the killings were done by shooting 12 times and bombs) this was to pass a strong messege to terrorists and terrorize them before comitting a smilar crime again. Your article was really thought provoking ….. thanks for that. Why dont a politician read it and let India form a similar group with ‘Operation Devara ode” “Operation Bhagvaan ka laath” and kill each person responsible for the Mumbai incident by shooting 170 bullets for each killer.

    This information reaches only few educated people who rarely cast their vote during elections, can it really make difference?

    My question is how can we spread this knowledge to all the voters in this country who choose useless and selfish leaders (most of them in UPA)?

    I read your articles quite regualarly and appreciate the content of each of them. I must say you spend a lot of time getting us the facts n figures. However, this article is a little disappointing one for me! Information on Golda Maier was good but comments on sonia gandhi (i’m not her fan anyway) was a little too personal and appreciating mr.modi for announcing 1 crore. Infact, the previous week itself i had guessed that such a comment would come from you. It unfortunate that it turned out exactly as i predicted. Be it Mr. modi or anyone on earth, it is being highly insensitive to declare money at the time when each and every one is praying and making their best efforts to come of that situation. Mr. Modi will not give money from his pocket anyway, its the tax money which is paid by common ppl like us be it in gujarat or karnataka. Can you even imagine the loss that would have happend to the family. yes, may be the poor jawans family might get some help out of this money but can you replace the person with money. i think it was a perfect reaction from the family of ashok karkare and sandeep unnikrishnan to reject the money. there is a time to react, no one invites for wedding when you see someone dead body is there in the house they have gone to invite. May be it sounds a bit too emotional but yes its all about emotions which should have been respected by this bloody politians who make their livelihood with our money. My request please don’t be biased when you write such articles.

Remember how our honourable External Affairs Minister Jaswanth Singh escorted most wanted terrorists in a special plane to Kandahar. All the root cause of Mumbai Carnage lies there.     I am afraid that if the present Government somehow brings the culprits of Mumbai attack to India, and if the BJP comes to power next at the centre, the first thing they will do is to take a special Airforce plane, and safely hand over all the terrorists to Pakistan with honour, and apology!
