ಹಾಗಂತ ಹೇಳಿದವನು ಯಾವ ಬಜರಂಗಿಯೂ ಅಲ್ಲ !

ಒಬ್ಬ ಕ್ಯಾಥೋಲಿಕ್ಕನಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಪೂರ್ವಗ್ರಹಪೀಡಿತನಾಗಿದ್ದೆ. ನನ್ನ ಅಂಕಲ್ ಅಂದು ಹಾಗೂ ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಿಷನರಿ. ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಅಮೆರಿಕದ ಜನರನ್ನು ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ಧರ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮತಾಂತರ ಮಾಡದೇ ಹೋದರೆ ಅವರು ಅನಂತ ಅನಾಹುತಕ್ಕೆ ಈಡಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಆತ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ತೆರಳಿದ. ನಾನು ಕ್ಯಾಥೋಲಿಕ್ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಿತವನು. ಹಿಂದೂಯಿಸಂ ಎಂದರೆ ಬಹುದೇವತಾರಾಧನೆ, ಮೂರ್ತಿಪೂಜೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮೂಢನಂಬಿಕೆ. ಹಿಂದೂಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ವರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಜಾಗವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಡಲಾಯಿತು. ನನ್ನ ಬಾಲ್ಯದ ಕ್ಯಾಥೋಲಿಸಂ ಅಂದರೆ ಇದಾಗಿತ್ತು, ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಹಿಂದೂಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ಅವಹೇಳನ ಮಾಡುವ ಅದೇ ಕ್ಯಾಥೋಲಿಸಂ ಅನ್ನು ಕಾಣಬಹುದು.

೧೯೯೪ರಲ್ಲಿ ಪೋಪ್ ಎರಡನೇ ಜಾನ್ ಪಾಲ್ ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿಕೆಯೊಂದನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು. “ಬುದ್ಧಿಸಂ, ಹಿಂದೂಯಿಸಂನಂತಹ ಪುರಾತನ ಧರ್ಮಗಳು ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ಮತ ಪ್ರತಿಪಾದನೆಗೆ ಎಸೆದಿರುವ ಸವಾಲನ್ನು ಏಷ್ಯಾದ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ಧರ್ಮಭೋದಕರು ನಿಭಾಯಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಧರ್ಮಗಳ ಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸತ್ಯಾಸತ್ಯತೆಗೆ ಗೌರವ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಲೇ ದೇವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ನಡುವಿನ ಏಕೈಕ ಸಂಧಾನಕಾರನೆಂದರೆ ಜೀಸಸ್. ಆತನೊಬ್ಬನೇ ಮಾನವತೆಯ ಉದ್ಧಾರಕ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಚರ್ಚ್ ಮನವರಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡಬೇಕು”.

ಈ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಬುದ್ಧನಾಗಲಿ, ಕೃಷ್ಣನಾಗಲಿ, ರಾಮನಾಗಲಿ ಜೀಸಸ್‌ಗೆ ಸಮನಲ್ಲ ಎಂದಾಯಿತು. ನಮ್ಮ ಧರ್ಮ ಮಾತ್ರ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಎಂಬ “Exclusiveness” ಈ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ! ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಇಂತಹದ್ದು ನನ್ನ ದೃಢ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ನೀವು ಬೇರೊಂದು ಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನಾನು ಹೇಗೆತಾನೇ ಸಹಿಷ್ಣುತೆ ಹೊಂದಿರಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ? ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸುವುದಾದರೂ ಹೇಗೆ? ಈ ರೀತಿಯ ಸಂಕೀರ್ಣ ಮನಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಅನಗತ್ಯ ಘರ್ಷಣೆ, ಒಡಕು, ಉದ್ವಿಗ್ನತೆಗೆ ದಾರಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡದೇ ಇದ್ದೀತೆ?

ಇಂದು ಮಿಷನರಿ ಕೆಲಸವೆಂಬುದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಬ್ಯುಸಿನೆಸ್. ಬಹುಶಃ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಅತಿದೊಡ್ಡ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರ! ಬರೀ ಕ್ಯಾಥೋಲಿಕ್ ಚರ್ಚ್‌ಗಳಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಹಲವಾರು ಪ್ರೊಟೆಸ್ಟೆಂಟ್ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳೂ ಕೂಡ ಅನ್ಯಧರ್ಮೀಯರನ್ನು ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ಧರ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮತಾಂತರ ಮಾಡಲು ಕೋಟ್ಯಂತರ ಡಾಲರ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಮೀಸಲಾಗಿಟ್ಟಿವೆ. ಮತ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿವೆ, ಹಲವಾರು ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿವೆ, ಕೆಲವು ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಮತಾಂತರ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಬಹುರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮತಾಂತರ ಬ್ಯುಸಿನೆಸ್ ಇದೆಯಲ್ಲಾ, ಅದು ಬಹುರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ವಹಿವಾಟಿನಂತಲ್ಲ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನ್ಯಾಯವೂ ಇಲ್ಲ, ಒಳತಂತ್ರ ಬಹಿರಂಗವಾಗಿ ಕಾಣುವುದೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಮಾತುಕತೆಯೂ ಇಲ್ಲ, ಚರ್ಚೆಗೂ ಜಾಗವಿಲ್ಲ. ಇದು, ಒಂದು ಧರ್ಮ ತಾನೊಂದೇ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವೆಂದು ಇತರ ಎಲ್ಲ ಧರ್ಮಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವಹೇಳನ ಮಾಡುವುದಾಗಿದೆ, ಇತರ ಧರ್ಮಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಸಿ ಬಳಿಯುವ ಕಾರ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಮತಾಂತರ ವಹಿವಾಟು ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹುವಾಗಿದೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಮಿಷನರಿಗಳು ಯಾವ ಅಡ್ಡಿ ಆತಂಕಗಳೂ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರವಾಗಿ ಮತಾಂತರ ಮಾಡಬಹುದಾದ ವಿಶ್ವದ ಅತಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತೇತರ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರವೆಂದರೆ ಭಾರತವೊಂದೇ. ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನ, ಬಾಂಗ್ಲಾದೇಶಗಳಂತಹ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳು ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ಮಿಷನರಿ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶವನ್ನೇ ನೀಡುವು ದಿಲ್ಲ. ಸೌದಿ ಅರೇಬಿಯಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೈಬಲ್ ಅಥವಾ ಜೀಸಸ್‌ನ ಸಣ್ಣ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯವೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಚೀನಾ ಕೂಡ ಮಿಷನರಿಗೆ ಬಾಗಿಲು ಮುಚ್ಚಿದೆ.

ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಿಷನರಿಯೊಬ್ಬರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳೂ ಪ್ರಸಾರ ಮಾಡಿದವು. ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂದೂಗಳು ಕಾಲ ಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಹತ್ಯೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಲೇ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಹಿಂದೂಗಳ ಹತ್ಯೆ ಪಾಶ್ಚಿಮಾತ್ಯ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳಿಗೆ ‘ಸುದ್ದಿ’ ಎನಿಸುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಮಿಷನರಿ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲ ಖಂಡಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಸಾಮೂಹಿಕ ಹತ್ಯಾಕಾಂಡದ ಇತಿಹಾಸವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿವೆ. ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಅಮೆರಿಕದ ಮೂಲನಿವಾಸಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಎಸಗಿದ ದೌರ್ಜನ್ಯದ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತರು ಕ್ಷಮೆ ಯಾಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಹಿಂದೂ ಧರ್ಮದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ದೌರ್ಜನ್ಯ, ಅವಹೇಳನದ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತರು ಎಂದಾದರೂ ಕ್ಷಮೆ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆಯೇ?

ಅಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೂ ಮತಾಂತರವನ್ನೇಕೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು?

ಮತಾಂತರಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆ ಏನು? ತಮ್ಮದೊಂದೇ ನಿಜವಾದ ಧರ್ಮ, ಜೀಸಸ್‌ನೊಬ್ಬನೇ ಮಾನವ ಜನಾಂಗದ ರಕ್ಷಕ, ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತರಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಮೋಕ್ಷ ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತರಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಸ್ವರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಗ ಹಾಗೂ ಉಳಿದವರು ನರಕಕ್ಕೆ ದೂಡಲ್ಪಡು ತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತರು ನಂಬಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದು ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಅಶಾಂತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಘರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ನೀಲನಕಾಶೆಯಲ್ಲವೆ? ಯಾರಾದರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನೆ ಅಥವಾ ಊರಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಮತಾಂತರ ಮಾಡಲು ಮುಂದಾದರೆ ಏನಾಗುತ್ತದೆ? ನಿಮ್ಮ ಧರ್ಮ, ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯ ಬಿಡಿ ಎಂದರೆ ಮತ್ತಿನ್ನೇನಾಗಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ? ಎಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಿ ಮಿಷನರಿ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತವೆಯೋ ಅಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲ ಘರ್ಷಣೆ, ಸಂಘರ್ಷಗಳಾಗುತ್ತವೆ ಅಷ್ಟೇ.

ಪ್ರೊಟೆಸ್ಟೆಂಟರು, ಆಂಗ್ಲಿಕನ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಲ್ಯುಥೆರನ್ಸ್ ತಮ್ಮ ಮಿಷನರಿ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಕ್ಯಾಥೋಲಿಕ್ಕರು ಮಾತ್ರ ಸದ್ದಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಜಗತ್ತಿನಾದ್ಯಂತ ಮತಾಂತರ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ವಸಾಹತುಶಾಹಿ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದಂತೆ ಬಲಪ್ರಯೋಗ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ‘ಗ್ಲೋಬಲ್ ಕನ್‌ವರ್ಶನ್’ ಉದ್ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಬಿಟ್ಟಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಂದು ಹಲವಾರು ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ಮತಪ್ರತಿಪಾದಕ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳು ಹುಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡಿವೆ. ವರ್ಲ್ಡ್ ವಿಶನ್, ದಿ ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್ ಕೋಯು ಲೀಶನ್, ಜೆನೋವ್ಹಾಸ್ ವಿಟ್ನೆಸ್, ಮಾರ್ಮೋನ್ಸ್, ಬ್ಯಾಪ್ಟಿಸ್ಟ್ ಮುಂತಾದ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳು ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಹಿಂದೂಗಳನ್ನು ಮತಾಂತರ ಮಾಡುವ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ ಅಮೆರಿಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಂದಾ ಎತ್ತುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ಟಿವಿ ಚಾನೆಲ್‌ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂತಹ ಮನವಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಿತ್ಯವೂ ಕಾಣಬಹುದು. ಪ್ಯಾಟ್ ರಾಬರ್ಟ್ಸ್‌ನ್ ಎಂಬಾತ “ಹಿಂದೂಯಿಸಂ ಎಂಬುದು ಭೂತಪ್ರೇತಗಳ ಧರ್ಮ” ಎಂದು ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ಚಾನೆಲ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಿರಂಗವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳ ಶಿರವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಹಿಂದೂ ದೇವ, ದೇವತೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿ “ಓಹ್, ಈ ಜನರು ಅದೆಷ್ಟು ಹಿಂದುಳಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ನೋಡಿ” ಎಂದು ವಿಡಂಬನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿನ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳತ್ತ ಬೊಟ್ಟು ಮಾಡಿ, “ಈ ಎಲ್ಲ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಿಂದೂಧರ್ಮವೇ ಕಾರಣ. ಇಂತಹ ಭಯಾನಕ ಧರ್ಮದಿಂದ ಜನರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ದೇಣಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿ” ಎಂದು ಕರೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಮಿಷನರಿಗಳು ಒಡ್ಡಿರುವ ಈ ರೀತಿಯ ಅಪಾಯ ವೆಂಬುದು ಯಾವುದೋ ತಾತನ ಕಾಲದ್ದು ಎಂದು ಹಿಂದೂಗಳು ಉದಾಸೀನ ತೋರಬಾರದು. ಜಗತ್ತಿನಾದ್ಯಂತ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಸಾಮರಸ್ಯವಿದೆ, ಅನ್ಯಧರ್ಮೀಯರು ಹಿಂದೂ ಯಿಸಂಗೆ ಗೌರವ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಹಿಂದೂಗಳು ಭಾವಿಸಿದರೆ ತಪ್ಪಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಮಿಷನರಿಗಳೆಂದೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ಬಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ್ಲ. ಒಂದಿಷ್ಟು ಮತಾಂತರಿಗಳು ಹಿಂದೂ ಧರ್ಮದ ಅವಹೇಳನದಂತಹ ಮಾರ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ಕೈಹಾಕಿದ್ದರೆ, ಮತ್ತೆ ಕೆಲವು ಅಮೆರಿಕದ ಪಠ್ಯಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳು ‘ಹಿಂದೂಯಿಸಂ ಒಂದು ಧರ್ಮವೇ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ದೇವರಾಗಲಿ, ಒಂದು ಧರ್ಮಗ್ರಂಥವಾಗಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಬೋಧನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿವೆ.

ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಮತಾಂತರ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಡತನಕ್ಕೂ ತಳುಕು ಹಾಕಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಮತಾಂತರವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಯಾವ ದೇಶ ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂದಿದೆ? ಕ್ಯಾಥೋಲಿಕ್ ದೇಶವಾದ ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪೀನ್ಸ್ ಏಷ್ಯಾದ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪುರಾತನ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರವಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದರೂ ಅದು ಏಷ್ಯಾದ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳ ಸಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ರುವುದೇಕೆ? ಅತ್ಯಂತ ದೈವಭಕ್ತ ಕ್ಯಾಥೋಲಿಕ್ಕರಿರುವುದು ಮಧ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಅಮೆರಿಕದಲ್ಲಿ. ಅತಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಅಸಮಾನತೆ ಇರುವುದೂ ಇದೇ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ! ಏಕೆ? ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ವಾಗಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಹೊಂದಲು ಅನ್ಯಧರ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮತಾಂತರ ಹೊಂದಿ ಎಂದು ಕ್ಯಾಥೋಲಿಕ್ಕರು ಅಲ್ಲೇಕೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ? ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಾದರೆ ಬಡತನಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂದೂ ಧರ್ಮವೇ ಕಾರಣ ಎಂದು ದೂರುವ ಮಿಷನರಿಗಳಿಗೆ, ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಅಮೆರಿಕದ ಜನರ ಬಡತನಕ್ಕೆ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ಧರ್ಮವೇ ಕಾರಣ ಎಂದು ಏಕೆ ಅನಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ?

ಇನ್ನು ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತರು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿರುವ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳು, ಅನಾಥಾಶ್ರಮಗಳು, ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಇವುಗಳೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಬಡವರ ಒಳಿತಿಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲದ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಗಳಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರೆ ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಅದ್ಭುತವೆನಿಸುತಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ, ಅನಾಥಾಲಯ, ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೇಕೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಶಿಲುಬೆಗಳು ರಾರಾಜಿಸುತ್ತಿವೆ?! ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ಮಿಷನರಿಗಳ ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರದ ಮತಾಂತರಕ್ಕೆ ೨೦೦೦ ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಇತಿಹಾಸವಿದೆ. ಹಾಗಿರುವಾಗ ಇವರಿಗೆ ಧರ್ಮವೆಂಬ ಲೇಬಲ್ ಚೇಂಜ್ ಮಾಡುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ನಂಬಲು ಹೇಗೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯ? ಇವರಿಗೆ ಸೇವಾ ಉದ್ದೇಶವಿರುವುದೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ, ಶಾಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮತಪ್ರಚಾರ ಮಾಡುವುದೇಕೆ? ಮಾನವ ಜನಾಂಗ ಯಾವ ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಸ್ವತ್ತೂ ಅಲ್ಲ. ಮಾನವ ಜನಾಂಗವೆಂಬುದು ಯಾರಿಗೋ ಸೇರಿರುವ ಆಸ್ತಿಯೂ ಅಲ್ಲ. ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ಯಾರೋ ಬಂದು ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಅದು ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯ ಅನಂತ ಹಾಗೂ ಸನಾತನ ಭಾಗ. ನಮ್ಮೊಳಗಿನ ದೈವತ್ವವನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಷ್ಟೆ. ಹಿಂದೂಯಿಸಂ ಎಂಬುದು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೂ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನ ‘ಸ್ವಧರ್ಮ’ಕ್ಕೂ ಗೌರವವೀಯುವ ತತ್ತ್ವವನ್ನು ಆಧರಿಸಿದೆ. ಹಿಂದೂಯಿಸಂ ಎಂಬುದು ಇತರ ಮತಗಳಂತೆ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಎಂದು ಕೆಲವರು ಭಾವಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಯೋಗ, ಧ್ಯಾನ, ವೇದ, ವೇದಾಂತದಂತಹ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯಗಳು ಯಾವ ಧರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿವೆ? ದುರದೃಷ್ಟವಶಾತ್, ಹಿಂದೂಧರ್ಮದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆಯೂ ತಪ್ಪುಗ್ರಹಿಕೆಗಳೇ ತುಂಬಿವೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂದೂಗಳೇ ಕಾರಣ. ತಮ್ಮ ಧರ್ಮದ ಹಿರಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಸಾರುವ, ಹುಸಿ ಪ್ರಚಾರಾಂದೋಲನವನ್ನು ಮಟ್ಟಹಾಕುವ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಅವರೆಂದೂ ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅಷ್ಟೇಕೆ, ಅವರು ಸ್ವಧರ್ಮದ ಬಗ್ಗೆಯೇ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಇತರರಿಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ.

ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ, ಭಾರತವೇನಾದರೂ ಹಿಂದೂಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ತ್ಯಜಿಸಿ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ಅಥವಾ ಇಸ್ಲಾಮಿಕ್ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರವಾದರೆ ಅದೊಂದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ನಷ್ಟವೆನ್ನದೆ ಬೇರೆ ದಾರಿಯಿಲ್ಲ. ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ಹಾಗೂ ಇಸ್ಲಾಂ ಧರ್ಮಗಳನ್ನು ಜಗತ್ತು ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ನೋಡಿದೆ, ಅನುಭವಿಸಿದೆ. ಪಾಶ್ಚಿಮಾತ್ಯರೇಕೆ ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ? ಭಾರತದ ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ eನ, ಆಧ್ಮಾತ್ಮಿಕ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯದ ಸಂಪತ್ತಿಗಾಗಿ ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ನಿಜ ಹೇಳಬೇಕೆಂದರೆ ರಫ್ತು ಮಾಡುವಷ್ಟು ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ಸಂಪತ್ತನ್ನು ಭಾರತ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ….

ಇಷ್ಟೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದು ಯಾವ ಬಜರಂಗಿಯೂ ಅಲ್ಲ!

ಯಾರೋ ಕೋಮುವಾದಿ ಇರಬೇಕು ಎನ್ನಲು ಆತ ಆರೆಸ್ಸೆಸ್ಸಿಗನೂ ಅಲ್ಲ. ಹಿಂದುತ್ವವಾದಿ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲು ಆತ ವಿಎಚ್‌ಪಿ ನಾಯಕನೂ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಮನುವಾದಿ ಎನ್ನಲು ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣನೂ ಅಲ್ಲ. ಒಬ್ಬ ಕ್ಯಾಥೋಲಿಕ್ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತನಾಗಿ ಮಿಷನರಿಗಳ ಕುಟುಂಬದಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿ, ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲೇ ಮಿಷನರಿಗಳ ನಗ್ನದರ್ಶನ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಂತಹ ಡಾ. ಡೆವಿಡ್ ಫ್ರಾಲಿ!! ಅಮೆರಿಕದ ಫ್ರಾಲಿ, “Christians Under Siege: A Missionary Ploy” ಎಂಬ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಮತಾಂತರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಈ ರೀತಿ ಬೆತ್ತಲು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದ ಹಾಗೆ, ಈ ಮಿಷನರಿಗಳು ಎಂತಹ ಚತುರಮತಿಗಳೆಂಬುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಘಟನೆಯನ್ನೇ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿ. ಯಾವುದಾದರೂ ಫಿಲ್ಮ್‌ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ಅಥವಾ ಸೆಲೆಬ್ರಿಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕರೆಸಿದರೆ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರೀ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ದೊರೆಯುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಮಿಷನರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಗೊತ್ತು. ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಮಾಡಿ ಹಿಂದೂ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರ ಆತ್ಮಸ್ಥೈರ್ಯವನ್ನೇ ಉಡುಗಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ಮಹೇಶ್ ಭಟ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕರೆಸಿ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ಕೊಡಿಸಿದರು. ಮುರಿದುಬಿದ್ದ ಶಿಲುಬೆಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡಾಗ ಎಂಥವರಿಗೂ ಬೇಸರವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಅಂತಹ ದುರದೃಷ್ಟಕರ ಘಟನೆಗೆ ಮೂಲ ಕಾರಣವೇನೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಯಾರೂ ಗಮನಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. “ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣರಿಗೆಲ್ಲ ಮೂಲಪುರುಷನಾದ ವಸಿಷ್ಠ ಮಹರ್ಷಿ ಶ್ರೀರಾಮನಿಗೆ ಗುರುವೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಈತ ವೇಶ್ಯೆಯಾದ ಊರ್ವಶಿಯ ಮಗ. ಸೂಳೆಯಾದ ಊರ್ವಶಿ ಮಹಾವಿಷ್ಣುವಿಗೆ ಕುಮಾರಿ. ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಾನವಾದ ಶಮಂತಕಮಣಿಯನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಲು ಯೋಗ್ಯನಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ಆತ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪವನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಬಿಡಿಸುವನು?”-ಹೀಗೆ ಅವಹೇಳನ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಯಾವ ಸ್ವಾಭಿಮಾನಿ ಹಿಂದೂ ಸುಮ್ಮನಿದ್ದಾನು? ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ, ತನ್ನ ಜೀವವನ್ನೇ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗದ ಜೀಸಸ್ ಜಗತ್ತನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿಯಾನು? ಎಂದು ನಾವೂ ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿದ್ದರೆ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತರು ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆ?

ಅದು ಬಜರಂಗ ದಳವಿರಬಹುದು ಅಥವಾ ಇನ್ನಾವುದೇ ಸಂಘಟನೆ ಇರಬಹುದು. ಧರ್ಮದ ಅವಹೇಳನ ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ಕಾನೂನನ್ನು ಕೈಗೆತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಸಹಜ. ಡ್ಯಾನಿಶ್ ಕಾರ್ಟೂ ನಿಸ್ಟ್ ಬರೆದ ವ್ಯಂಗ್ಯಚಿತ್ರ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾದಾಗ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರು, ಡಾ ವಿನ್ಸಿ ಕೋಡ್, ಜೀಸಸ್‌ಕ್ರೈಸ್ಟ್ ಸೂಪರ್‌ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳು ಬಂದಾಗ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತರೂ ಕಾನೂನನ್ನು ಕೈಗೆತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಕಳೆದ ವಾರ ಕಂಡುಬಂದ ಹಿಂದೂಗಳ ಪ್ರತಿ ರೋಧವನ್ನು ಸಾರಾಸಗಟಾಗಿ ಖಂಡಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಹಿಂದೂಗಳನ್ನು ಕೆರಳಿಸಿದ್ದು ಮೊದಲ ತಪ್ಪು.

ಇದೇನೇ ಇರಲಿ, ಹಿಂದೂ ಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ಅವಹೇಳನ ಮಾಡಿದವರಿಗೆ ಈಗ ಬಿಸಿ ಮುಟ್ಟಿಸಿರುವುದು ಸಾಕು. ಚರ್ಚ್ ಒಡೆಯುವ ಕೆಲಸ ಬೇಡ. ಆದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಊರು, ಕೇರಿ, ಕಾಲೋನಿಗೆ ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಮತಾಂತರ ಮಾಡಲು ಬಂದರೆ ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿ. ಅವರು ಹಂಚುವ ಅವಹೇಳನಕಾರಿ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳನ್ನು ಮೊದಲು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು, ಆನಂತರ ಮೈಗೆ ಬಿಸಿ ಮುಟ್ಟಿಸಿ. ಆಧಾರ ಸಮೇತ ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಗೊಪ್ಪಿಸಿ. ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕೊರಿಯಾ, ಅಂಗೋಲಾ, ಬುರುಂಡಿ, ಕೆಮರೂನ್, ಚಾಡ್, ಝೈರ್, ಕೀನ್ಯಾ, ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪೀನ್ಸ್, ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಆಫ್ರಿಕಾ, ತಾಂಜಾನಿಯಾ ಇವ್ಯಾವುದೂ ಮೂಲತಃ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಂದು ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತರು ಬಹುಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹಿಂದೂಗಳಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದ್ದ ನಮ್ಮ ಮಣಿಪುರ, ಮೇಘಾಲಯ, ನಾಗಾಲ್ಯಾಂಡ್‌ಗಳು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಾಗಿವೆ. ಆಂಧ್ರದ ವಿಜಯ ಭಾಸ್ಕರ ರೆಡ್ಡಿ, ವೈ.ಎಸ್. ರಾಜಶೇಖರ ರೆಡ್ಡಿ ಇವರ ಹೆಸರುಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ರೆಡ್ಡಿ ಎಂಬ ಹಿಂದೂ ಸರ್‌ನೇಮ್ ಇದ್ದರೂ ಇವರ್‍ಯಾರೂ ಹಿಂದೂಗಳಲ್ಲ, ಮತಾಂತರಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತರು. ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ, ಮತಾಂತರ ಹೀಗೇ ಸಾಗಿದರೆ ಭಾರತ ಭಾರತವಾಗಿ ಉಳಿಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಷ್ಟಾಗಿಯೂ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾಂಬಿಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಇಂಡಿಯನ್ ಮುಜಾಹಿದ್ದೀನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮತಾಂತರದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಷೇಧ ಹೇರುವಂತೆ ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸುವ ಬದಲು ಸ್ವಾಭಿಮಾನಿ ಹಿಂದೂ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಷೇಧಿಸಬೇಕು ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಿರುವ ವೀರಪ್ಪ ಮೊಯ್ಲಿ, ಖರ್ಗೆ, ಡಿಕೆಶಿ, ದೇವೇಗೌಡ ಇವರು ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಬಲುದೊಡ್ಡ ಅಪಾಯವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಣಮಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಹಾಗಿರುವಾಗ ಗೋಕರ್ಣದ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರ ತಡೆಯಲು ತೊಡೆತಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ಬೀದಿಗಿಳಿಯಲು ಸಿದ್ಧರಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ನಾಡಿನ ಯತಿವರ್ಯರು ಮೊದಲು ಧರ್ಮ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗಾಗಿ ತೋಳನ್ನೇರಿಸುವುದು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು!! ಅಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೂ ಇಂದು ನಾವು ಎಚ್ಚೆತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋರಾಟ ಮಾಡದಿದ್ದರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಯಾವ ಮಠಮಾನ್ಯ, ಮಂದಿರಗಳೂ ಉಳಿಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಈ ಸತ್ಯ ನಾಡಿನ ಎಲ್ಲ ಜಾತಿ ಮಠ, ಮಠಾಧೀಶರಿಗೂ ಆದಷ್ಟು ಬೇಗ ಅರ್ಥವಾದರೆ ಒಳಿತು. ಅವರೂ ಧರ್ಮ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ಮುಂದಾಗಬೇಕು.

    Hi Pratap,

    Completely agree with your hard-hitting article.
    Conversion is the root cause of EVERY PROBLEM.
    I could not understand the 1st para. Were you Xtian before?

    But, I have reservation regarding the way Bajrang Dal/VHP/Sri Rama Sena works (though not RSS) because they are not disciplined. Though nationalistic, VHP/BD thrives on mob culture and can be another ShivSena/MNS in the making on a different (HINDUISM) issue(e.g. ShivSena/Sri Rama Sena declaring they would raise Suicide bomb squad is utterly disturbing…).
    For me, an organization without discipline can’t grow and reach the people and meet their aspirations. So, I think RSS (whose discipline is second-only to the military discipline) should influence these sister organisations to inculcate some discipline.

    But then, seeing the ground situation everywhere in India (NE/Tamil Nadu/Kerala/AP with aggressive conversion activities) and media-bias, I really get confused about which is the right way to wake up HINDUS from the SLUMBER….

    As you have said, Conversion targets Weaker section of the people. Swami Vivekananda had said, it is a CRIME to give RELIGION to people who are REALLY HUNGRY, all they need is FOOD. How do we solve this problem? More than one-third of world’s poor people live in INDIA.
    I believe unless we empower(educational,economical,social) the neglected/deprived people of the society, the problem will persist. There are many organisations which are working towards it and we should be volunteering right away. The Ekal Vidyalaya is one such organisation that I think is doing a yeoman service towards this cause(www.ekalindia.org). Swami Vivekanda had said that the EDUCATED are the MOST UNGRATEFUL fellow beings. We need to CHANGE that.

    My earnest request to all dear friends, let us all work together towards this goal by associating with such organisations and do our bit of service.

    As always, this is also one of the good article but only those people will be able read this article we should take the real picture of our society to public even I have seen in the coastal area of Karnataka (near to NR Pura) Christians are slowly making their realty through our innocent people and current generation are started changing their culture…first……no Kunkama on the forehead, you have to see their style of pooja at our Hindu temples…..oh my god….they will see god and kiss to themselves…….if we don’t control this….that’s it?

    As always great article. It is totally unacceptable we compare Jesus with Rama, Krishna. In india people like jesus are in every street, Sai Baba and siddaruda swamiji are examples and sorry if you think he is not equivalent to these people.
    Govt has to bring a law to stop this and we have to fight for this.

    Thanks a lot for this article, we have to start and that has to be initiated by one leader and everyone should follow him. They have crossed the limit and now its no more tolerable. One disgusting and the most dangerous thing what is happening now is, our so called great politicians are not taking any strong, rigid step in controlling these stupid activities. They are behind the vote bank. We being the public, pillars of the nation should take strong steps and that should not harm anyone.

    British ruled us by making Indians fight against Indians, Pakistanis are again using our own Indians to fight against us so are the so called USA and Europe by conversions. Don’t we all have a Heritage of few thousand years of co-existence? There should be a collective effort. The conversions are bad only with a reason that drinking wine and eating non-vegetarian is a ritualistic practice. Can any Hindu be forced to do it as a ritual? Many Hindu’s might be taking them out of interest but Christianity as a ritual encourages such practices. I’m not against any religion. But these events are a handy work to destabilize India. When a small country as Israel which is the Second oldest religion (Yahudi) in the world can fight back terror in its face, what is stopping us with over 100 crore population. All lives lost in terror including Terrorists might be Indians only. Our so called neighbors are using our own lives to degenerate our culture and lives.

The politicians who cash in on the opportunity for political gain and so called minority communities are a major threat to “Hinduism” . Whenever Hindus fight for dharma it is colored as communal violence, but the irony is – ‘jihad’ a freedom fight. Conversion of poor and innocent is a constitutional right. Sick minds! The people who degrade sentiments of Hindus and indulge in such peace disturbing activities must be punished in the first place.

    ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್ನರಿಗೆ / ಬುದ್ದಿ ಜೀವಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೆಲವು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳು:
    ೧) ಎಸುವನ್ನೇ ಏಕಮೇವ ದೇವರೆಂದು ಹೇಳುವ ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್ನರಿಗೆ ಎಸುವಿಗಿಂತ ಮೊದಲು ದೇವರೇ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲವೇ? ಇದ್ದರೆ ಯಾರು?
    ೨) ಏಸುವಿನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಹೆಸರು ಮೇರಿ ಎಂದು. ಇವಳನ್ನು Virgin Mary ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಓಕೆ, ಏನಾದರೂ ಕರೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿ ಅನ್ನುವ ಹಾಗಿಲ್ಲ ,ಕಾರಣ, ಅರ್ಥಕೋಶದಲ್ಲಿ ‘Virgin’ ಅಂದರೆ “Virginity is the state of being a virgin (never had vaginal intercourse)” ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಏಸು ಹೇಗೆ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ?
    ೩) ಏಸುವಿನ ಅಮ್ಮ ಮೇರಿ, ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಳ್ಳೋಣ, ಅಪ್ಪ ಯಾರು? ಥಟ್ಟನೆ “ಜೋಸೆಫ್” ಎ೦ದುಬಿಟ್ಟೀರ! ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ‘ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ’ ಅಪ್ಪ ಅಷ್ಟೆ, ನಿಜವಾದ ಅಪ್ಪ ಬಹುಶ ಮೇರಿ ಮಾತೆಗಷ್ಟೇ ಗೊತ್ತಿರಬಹುದು.
    ೪) ಏಸುವಿನ ಅಪ್ಪ ಯಾರೆ೦ದು ಪಶ್ಚಿಮದಲ್ಲೇನು ತಲೆ ಕೆಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಬಿಡಿ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಭಂಧಕ್ಕೆನೂ ಜಾಸ್ತಿ ಬೆಲೆ ಕೊಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಅರ್ಥವಾಯಿತಲ್ಲ…?
    ೫) “ವಿಗ್ರಹ ಆರಾಧನೆ ಒಂದು ಮೂಢ ನಂಬಿಕೆ” ಇದನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ (ನಮ್ಮ ಬುದ್ದಿಜೀವಿಗಳಿಗೆ) ಹೇಳಿಕೊಟ್ಟವರು ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್ನರು. ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಚರ್ಚಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಏಸುವಿನ ವಿಗ್ರಹ ಯಾಕೆ? ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಮೇಲ್ಭಾಗಕ್ಕೆ, ಮುಖ್ಯದ್ವಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಶಿಲುಬೆ ಯಾಕೆ?
    ೬) ಶಿಲುಬೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊರಳಿಗೆ, ಕಾರು, ವ್ಯಾನು….ವಾಹನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ನಮಿಸಿ ಮುತ್ತು (kiss)ಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ ಏನರ್ಥ?
    ೭) convert ಆದಮೇಲೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಕು೦ಕುಮ, ಸೀರೆ, ಕಾಲುಂಗುರ, ಬಳೆ, ಗೆಜ್ಜೆ, ತಾಳಿ, ಬಿಳಿ ಪಂಚೆ…. ಇವೆಲ್ಲ ಯಾಕೆ? ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರು, ಧರ್ಮವನ್ನೇ ದ್ವೇಷಿಸಿ ಹೋದಮೇಲೆ, “ನಮ್ಮದನ್ನು” ಯಾಕೆ ಬಳಸುತ್ತೀರಿ?
    ೮) ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭೂತ ಪ್ರೇತ ಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನಮಗಿಂತಲೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿದೆ. ಅಮೇರಿಕಾ ಇಂಗ್ಲೆಂಡ್ ಗಳಲ್ಲಂತೂ ಇವುಗಳಿಗಾಗೇ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹಬ್ಬವಿದೆ. ಹ್ಯಾಲೋವೀನ್ ಎಂದು ರಜ (holiday) ಕೂಡ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ. ಹಿಂದೂ ಗಳ ಭೂತಾರಾಧನೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅವಹೇಳನ ಮಾಡಲು ನೈತಿಕ ಹಕ್ಕು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ಚಿಯನ್ನರಿಗಿದೆಯೇ?

    ೯) ಅಸಹ್ಯವೆನಿಸುವ ಪದ್ಧತಿ : ಗಂಡಸು-ಗಂಡಸು, ಹೆಂಗಸು-ಹೆಂಗಸು ಮದುವೆಯಾಗುವ ಪದ್ದತಿಯನ್ನು ಚರ್ಚುಗಳೇ ಒಪ್ಪಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಮೇಲೆ, ಇನ್ನೇನು ನೈತಿಕತೆ ಉಳಿಯಿತು?
    ೧೦) ಮಾನವನಾಗಿದ್ದ ಏಸು ಸತ್ತು, ಮತ್ತೆ ಹುಟ್ಟಿಬರುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎನ್ನುವುದಾದರೆ, ಪುನರ್ಜನ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನ೦ಬಿಕೆ ಇದೆ ಎಂದಾಯಿತು. ಹಾಗಾದರೆ, ಹಿಂದೂಗಳ ‘ಜನ್ಮ’ ಕಲ್ಪನೆಗೆ ಯಾಕೆ ಕಲ್ಲು ಹಾಕುತ್ತಿರ?
    ೧೧) ಏಸು 18 ರಿ೦ದ 32 ನೆ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನ ವರೆಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ? ವ್ಯಾಟಿಕನ್ ಯಾಕೆ ಬಾಯಿಬಿಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ? ಇದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮದ ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್ನರ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡಲಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ ಯಾಕೆ?

    ೧೨) ಏಸು, ವಿಶ್ವದಲ್ಲೇ ಇದ್ದಿದ್ದ ಏಕಮೇವ university- ನಳಂದ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಿತಿದ್ದು ಸುಳ್ಳೇ?
    ೧೩) ಏಸು ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರಕ್ಕೂ, ಟಿಬೆಟ್ಗೂ , ಭುವನೇಶ್ವರದ ದೇವಾಲಯಕ್ಕೂ ಭೇಟಿಕೊಟ್ಟ ಪ್ರೂಫ್ ತೋರಿಸಿದರೆ, ನೀವು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಸುಳ್ಳು ಎಂದು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೀರಾ?

    ೧೪) ಹಿಂದೂಗಳ ಭಗವದ್ಗೀತೆಯಿಂದ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ (ಕಾಪಿ) ಹಲವಾರು ನೀತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತ ಬೈಬಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಓದುವ ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್ನರು, ಹಿಂದೂಗಳ ಪವಿತ್ರಗ್ರಂಥಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ಅರ್ಥವಿಲ್ಲದ್ದು ಎನ್ನುವುದೇಕೆ?
    (ಒಬ್ಬ ಭಾರತದ Converted saint, ಭಗವದ್ಗೀತೆಯನ್ನೇ ಬೈಬಲ್ ನ ಕಾಪಿ ಎಂದಿದ್ದ!…ಪ್ರೂಫ್ u-tube ನಲ್ಲಿದೆ)
    ೧೫) ಹಿಂದೂ ಗಳ ‘ಜಾತಿ’ ಯಾ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತಾಡುವ ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್ನರೆ, ನಿಮ್ಮದು ಜಾತಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ಧರ್ಮ ಅಲ್ಲವೇ?
    ನಿಜ ಹೇಳಿ ಎಷ್ಟು ಇದೆ? (encyclopedia ಪ್ರಕಾರ ೧೯೫೦ರ ಸುಮಾರಿಗೆ ೨೦೦ಕ್ಕಿನ್ತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಒಳಪಂಗಡಗಳಿತ್ತು…ಭಾರತದದ್ದೂ ಸೇರಿದಮೇಲೆ……!)
    ೧೬) ೮೦% ಗಿಂತಲೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿರುವ ಅಮೆರಿಕದಲ್ಲಿ “ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪವಿತ್ರವಾದ ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್” ಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನವರು ಇಷ್ಟ ಪಟ್ಟು ಆಚರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ? ಅವರು ‘ಭಾರತದವರಷ್ಟು’ ಮೂರ್ಖರಲ್ಲ ಎಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳೋಣ?
    ೧೭)ಅತ್ಯಂತ ವೈಭವೋಪೇತವಾಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಅಮೆರಿಕದ ಚರ್ಚುಗಳು ಯಾಕೆ ಖಾಲಿ ಹೊಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತವೆ?
    ೧೮) ಅಮೆರಿಕಾದ ಚರ್ಚುಗಳನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್ನರೇ ಯಾಕೆ ಹಿಂದೂ ದೇವಾಲಯಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ಪರಿವರ್ತಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ?
    ೧೯) ಪಶ್ಚಿಮದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್ನರು ಯಾಕೆ ಸ್ವ-ಇಚ್ಚೆಯಿಂದ ಹಿಂದೂ ದೇವಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ?

    ೨೦) ಅಮೆರಿಕದ ಸಂಸತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ (Indian Parliment ತರ) ಅಲ್ಲಿಯ ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್ನರೇ ಹಿಂದೂ ಸಂತನನ್ನು ಮಂತ್ರ ಪಠಣಕ್ಕೆಂದು ಕರೆಸಿದ್ದೇಕೆ?
    ೨೧) ‘ಯೋಗ’ದ ಜನಪ್ರಿಯತೆ ತಾಳಲಾರದೆ, ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್ ಯೋಗವನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದೀರಲ್ಲ, ಅದನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಕಾಪಿ ಮಾಡಿದಿರಿ? ಕೆಲವರ್ಷದ ನಂತರ ಪೇಟೆಂಟ್ ತೊಗೊ೦ಡು ಪತಂಜಲಿ ಮಹರ್ಷಿ ಬೈಬಲ್ಲಿಂದಲೇ ಕಾಪಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಎಂದುಬಿಡಿ.
    ೨೨) convert ಮಾಡಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್ನರೇ ಅಲ್ವ? ಆದರೆ ಕೆಳವರ್ಗದವರನ್ನು ಯಾಕೆ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಸೇರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ? ‘ದಲಿತ’ ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್ನರು ಎಂದರೆ ಏನರ್ಥ?

    ೨೪) ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತರು ಅಂದರೆ ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್ನರು ಎಂದು ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತದೆ, ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಕಡುಬಡವರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ನಿಮಗೇಕೆ ರೆಸೆರ್ವಶನ್?
    ೨೫) ಅಮೇರಿಕಾ, ಯುರೋಪ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರಗಳು ಚರ್ಚುಗಳನ್ನು ದೂರ ಇಡುತ್ತವೆ ಯಾಕೆ ಸರ್?

    I may agree with you that we have not read Vedas and other Sanatana Dhrma granthas. But we have some common sense which you all lack. Simple statements of Sanatana Dharma (Hindu Dharma) are taught to us. One of them is Vasudaiva Kutumbakam….whole world is one family. We believe in it till others like you come and say that it is only Jesus who is the saviour. We have been hearing this since long time and were waiting that you will understand what we INDIANS stand for. But we have crossed out patience limit. When people like you say bad about our ancestors and gods, we will have to react.

    And then why should you cenvert people in the name of education, medical help etc.? If you and your community wants to help Indian communities, please do it whole heartedly without expectations that people get converted to your cult. You and people of your cult have horrible goal.

    I have many things to say but time and this website will not permit…. Since you have read Bible (and we do not know Vedas etc.), can any one of answer questions asked by Pratap and Venkatesh? I am sure you can not….

    Lastly, you people are talking as if you have come from Betlehem, Jerusalem or a western country. Please go back and see what your ancestors were. Rakesh… your name is of Bhagawan Shiva… you should change it to a christian name.     Fellow christians.. you need to understand the political movements of christian societies in the world. At least in europe, the craddle of science and technology the polity is moving towards sensible development outside the trumpery influences of the Church. U.S. still falls for the ‘deals’ of Church. Living in a capitalistic country even Churches know, how to ‘capitalize’ christ.

    Christ and Church are entirely two different concepts. Christ and Christianity are also different concepts. I don’t think Jesus Christ had ever told these elites to sell Christianity in exchange of social service. We can welcome wholeheartedly any one who has great admiration for Christ and to know his teachings.

    But what the Church does is- it has the ability to make sausage out of teachings and political motive. Arguably Church has 2000 years of history of violence in the name of Church. Observe the fact here- It was in name of church not Jesus. Becasue church was the hub of polity and power-center in those days.

    When the democratic process started and this idea has been increasingly ambraced by the intelligent and innovative western counties, it has distrubed the Church a lot! They don’t have much market there. Naturally the targets were the third world.

    It is out of deadly spree, the Brazil, Argentina and other latin american countries fell prey to these. And India was no exeption!

    Christianity is not a magic pill or soap to cleans a person. Pity that Church has made dirty business out of Christ for centuries.

    The Indian missionaries and others who advocate them as spiritually superior should understand the fact that, one day they need to pay back!

    It is definitely a difficult job to make an Indian christian convert to understand these facts because they have grown in the thickness of this. I can only pray to Jesus to give them wisdom and sanity.

    Don’t create mess out of Christ. You will gain much more respect otherwise.

    The points you have mentione is absolutely perfect. The people like Ananthmurthy, Devegowda and etc.. are not born in Hindu religion (I feel). Had they born, atleast they would have had some concern about the Hindu’s who stays in Eastern part of the country. Please ask Devegowda that when he was the PM of our nation, how many times he visited Eastern states to check the status of people over there….

    Also, Reddy’s, not sure about the percentage of conversion in AP, But its almost done there and every Christian has to read Bible and he should spread the same to people around him (its Mandatory) and targets will be given to them. Its a type of Marketing by those and people & we are not noticing it.

    A good writer never hurt the feelings of the brothers and sisters of other religion. you are dishonouring yourself by writing such kind of articles. you have good talent of writing the articles. you have style of writing. you write the articles that which reconcile with the other religion. Allah, Shiva, Parameshwara, Yahweh are the terms and names which are used in their respective religion. Allah is not the God of Muslims. Allah is the term for God used in Islam Language. and also Parameshwara , Shiva so on, are the terms used in Indian language. Being a Christian if I say ‘Allah Oh Akbar’ is nothing wrong. the meaning of that phrase is `God is almighty` the meaning of parameshwara is `Parama Iishwara` God of all. so, for it looks very silly saying that ‘ my religion is true religion, my God is true God. After our death we are going　to One destiny, we are going to meet One God. only the style of the living may be different but our goal will be the same, that is the Heaven. All will be saved and all will be going to Heaven. There is no discrimination with regard to the religion. All have the weanesses. Christians have their own weaknesses, hindu brotheren have their own weaknesses, muslim bretheren too have their own weaknesses. as i read the comments of the articles, most of the lovers of this article, speak about the history of 2000 years. I agree that there were failures and mistakes. Now people are educated. now the modern world is the world of knowledge. People are not the same as they were in the past. the lifestyle is being changed. the thinking style has been changed. Now we should act as matured and educated persons.
